People don't appreciate something until its gone, this game was very fun, rounds took longer, you had more room for mistakes, more combo verity, the customization was the best the series ever offered

The netcode is definitely weaker than what we have now but Tekken 6 is more interesting, for sure. I really liked the oki game in particular (lots of room for back roll pickups and having to know how to get off the ground properly). I always said I wish I had the talent for Tekken I do now but playing a game like TTT2 or T6. T6 isn't really a favorite of mine either but Tekken 7 is so bland by comparison.

Less resources console power wise, sure. Definitely had more resources during the game's initial development, what with the big success of Tekken 5 (at the time the second best selling game in the series) compared to Tekken 7 working with scraps after Tekken Tag Tournament 2 was somehow the worst selling game in the series. That said, a lot of it comes down to artistry, and the artistry is pretty wack in Tekken 7

tbh i miss the "instant replay" thing after a round ended. id prob still skip it every time if it came to tekken 8 but it was still cool if you wanted to see a cool finisher again.

It’s not really a problem but a pet peeve of mine. I get it though- they’re bridging the gap between the casuals & the pros. It’s a smart move but nah, I guess forgive me for being nostalgic.

unfortunately you have tekken 7 style, tekken 6 as heat slam, tekken 8s new "big boot into backflip bound" and "uppercut into backflip bound"

@@thecelestial9677 yeah.. Tailspin still exists in Tekken 8 as seen in Lars' trailer. Heat slam can do a bound like mechanism. And the main combo extender for Tekken 8 is the backflip bound but I doubt it whether we'd be able to save it for wall. I think it will also give a wall splat like Tailspin in Tekken 7.
