I feel like it’s reviving all the reasons why I came to love the original track- but I’ve been playing for 3 years so the track is just kind of cemented in my head now and I don’t think much of it anymore. The piano and guitar in this just sends me back in time to some place relaxing and happy, including the first time I played Tekken and Smash Bros 64

ive been saying this since they put Ryu in smash 4, in hindsight i think Kaz is probably the better pick though bc his Mishima style is a lot more visually unique than Jin. making Jin have Devil Jin moves instead of the regular karate he uses like he did in the old games would've been cool too though

They're basically like the trophies from the older games but now they're PNGs and give you stat buffs or modify your character's behavoir like a mixture of gear from Injustice 2 and gems in Street Fighter X Tekken. Just like gems, they aren't competitively viable.

Overall I think this remix is good, but the DK Country-sounding piano melody Yoko put in the middle of the track sounded a little too out of character. One of the main attractions of the original Moonsiders 1st was its consistent tempo, making it incredibly easy for the players to focus and enjoy the track at the same time.

I like it. It gives the track more variety and depth. I'm not a big Tekken nut so while I really like the original version, I find myself getting bored of consistent, albeit very addicting monotone tempo and sound over the course of a long listening session
