It's interesting to see so many different kazuya players. Lots of them were trying to apply mix ups but they didn't give tmm any reason to care about them, they didn't condition him. Tmm on the other hand was punishing mistakes the other players made (or spamming electrics) so they would stop pressing buttons randomly, so they would have to hold back and guess. It's interesting to me because some of the kazuya players were quite good (movement, punishing, execution etc) but they weren't planning their gameplay very well. Just my opinion anyway

I played a lot like 3 years ago. Got up to almost promoted into green. Didn’t quite get there and then didn’t play for a long time. Just started playing again. I keep getting smoked in the Dan levels. Struggling to get past 3rd Dan. Had a chance to get to initiate and now keep going between 1st and 3rd Dan. Driving me crazy.

If one of your characters reachers 1st Dan all other characters besides DLC characters are promoted directly to 1st Dan without any games. This is done to discourage smurfing.

I don't like to play against Kazuya, an noob player will spam UF 4444, a skillful player will fuck you up with an electric and hellswips. Considering that the electric is on the block +5)

The uf4444 is easy to counter, you just low parry the second kick. About the electrics or sweeps, well is another stuff. Kazuya's disadvantage is that he can't do much pressure so he relies on being defensive. So if you press him good he will almost be defenseless.

you joke, but could you imagine the influx of players if they made retreating easier then spending months perfecting a minor glitch? the one thing that i honestly think tekken 8 should seriously consider making obsolete. the korean backdash. everything else, all that legacy skill should remain the same, but the backdash is just an insurmountable hurdle for so many. it's just one giant skill gate for 90% of players. even just increasing the speed a little and keeping the option to backdash would be fine, at least you'd have a half decent alternative. as it is the only way to truly compete is to learn it.
