I miss the arcade modes of the older Tekken games. There were twice as many stages, their were rival batlles unique to each character that in the later games had special intro and outro dialogue to them and each character had their own ending movie showing the outcome of their victory in the tournament. This arcade mode seems pretty redundant now.

In other arcade playthroughs, I'm noticing that the post-Season 1 stages (Jungle Outpost 2, Twilight Conflict 2, Infinite Azure 2, Last Day on Earth, Cave of Enlightenment, Vermillion Gates, Island Paradise) are not showing up in arcade mode. How do you get them to appear in arcade mode? Do you buy the definitive version?

it's the same deal as sub zero from mortal kombat being a character that has been around since mk1. In a way he has even though bi han died and became noob saibot. by "oldest character" i ment her debut was in the first tekken game. in a way we are both correct, a character named kunimitsu has been around since the begining (although she has not been playable in the majority of games) but this one is not exactly the same, yes i already knew who was under the mask, i was using the same logic as people calling sub zero, "sub zero" or even outside of games like in for example power rangers, The red ranger is different in almost every show but even in the same continuity people call different people the red ranger
