In Spaniard, it's funny that Tekken usually portraits Miguel as a punk who loves getting into street fights but his voice actor just gave him so much wisdom in his voice and speaking besides the heart.

The voice actor really went above and beyond, Miguel is not just a punk he's, for a lack of a better word, a bully. up until his sister died he was content with life, he might not be a good guy but he was happy, after that Miguel fight looking for Jin not because he want to fight but revenge, that's what his voice actor portrait: pain, pain for loosing his life and his sister

Despite his thirst of revenge, Miguel decided to become the bigger man and thereby force Jin face up to his crimes. He realized killing Jin would not bring him peace, in addition Miguel also began to see Jin hates himself enough that he wanted to die, leading Miguel to spare his life, while making clear he will never forgive him until Jin realizes how much of a monster he's become. Jin blames all of his actions on the Devil Gene, but really it was his own need of revenge and his hatred of the Mishima bloodline that made the very thing he swore to destroy, all of it of his own will and in the end, he became like his father and grandfather before. Expect unlike even them, Jin chose to do it, whereas Heihachi and Kazuya just found themselves in this predicament over Kazumi's attempt to kill them both, something Jin never figured out. For all his hatred of the Mishimas, the Hachijos were the ones to blame for the feud between father and son, making Jin's desire for revenge greatly misplaced, whereas Miguel's wasn't and ironically learned to not give in like Jin did.

It was heartbreaking ending, both Jin and Miguel have something in common, they both lost a loved one, even it can be feel Jin's repentance and depression accepting that he deserves to die or something worse than death for his wrongdoings, he knows that his actions despite having been for a good purpose destroyed many lives. I really felt sad for Jin.

Sparing Jin out of cruel mercy seems fitting, Miguel knows that killing him won't bring his sister back and/or may end up becoming just as worse as Jin. Not to mention, anyone who is of Mishima blood end up being stuck in a vicious cycle of revenge that started with Heihachi and Kazuya.

If things continue to go like this between Miguel and Jin, I can honestly see them becoming friends. Like, Miguel might come to save Jin from a few scraps, mentioning that promise again, and one day Jin comes to pull Miguel from a few scraps in return. If it goes like that, Jin could probably go and pay respect to Miguel's sister, and beg for forgiveness; and maybe....just maybe...Miguel would forgive him.

As much as I love Miguel, I feel bad for Jin because he didn’t even plead for his life. He wants his life to end and just when he thought someone would end it. He ends up getting spared, meaning he still has to live and continue living the life he doesn’t want to live anymore.

Worst thing is, even if miguel landed that killing blow it wouldn't make a difference. The devil gene could revive Jin from shot with Rifles and a magnum round to the head. It will not even give Jin the respite of a deserved punishment.

My Idea of Tekken 8! Protagonist: Miguel. Summary: Miguel and some non - Mishima fighters will finally joins forces to put an end to the war. Once Jin deals with Kazuya, Miguel will have a choice: A) Understand Jin's reasons behind his actions and move on (optionally forgive him). Or B) Avenge his sister by killing Jin (Jin won't resist)
