fun fact, for the doing nothing part, if you add 1 spin of the Manji blood spin you get an extra 12 damage and they can't punish you anymore

Literally i dont know why i didnt think of that! I guess whenever you do this set up you hope the match is over LOL

I have been using this oki for the past few weeks and it has been very consistent. Landing a proper harakiri is always a bliss. Thank you.
@nosleepsnow39526 жыл бұрын
good to hear youve been having success with it! so glad theres so many more options to land the suicide as a tech trap compared to previous games where you pretty much had to do it in neutral.

Hi.... I notice the Korean yoshi's (oyo, guta, eyemusican) and the best yoshi in my opinion shou Chan (しょうちゃん) add a b+1 after the suicide to avoid the full punish combo if the suicide misses due to the shallow hit... You will lose some life however its better than getting punished.... Coming from a fellow south african yoshimitsu player.... Keep up the great work

Adil Satar Hi Adil, great point i never really considered. In theory you should really only be using this when you know it will kill. however in the case you miscalculate the lifebars or just throw this out mid round. I guess spinning away once is a good way to avoid any extra damage. Good suggestion and thanks for the support!

G-Radiation i got some ideas for more videos. anything else you were looking for in specific?
@g-radiation71546 жыл бұрын
thanks for asking. there isn't something some specific tech that I NEED to know at the top of my head. however, some things that I always wondered about are: - is there any setup (pushback / plus frames etc.) in which d/b+1+2 becomes a strong tool? - is there any situation in which flee+d, flee+u or flee+b (or, well, flee overall) can be employed strategically (that is, not on an insane, hard read)? - how many frames does it take for u+3+4 to start crushing lows and evading some mids/highs? - are there setups for d+1 on oki that can improve the overall combo damage, if you drop the combo ender? - do you know any smart ways to use KIN+b+1+2, KIN+2 or KIN+1,1? - I've seen kaneandtrench use f, f+3+4, 1+2, 3+4 to get out of corner pressure. do you know when this will work? just some ideas! :)
@g-radiation71546 жыл бұрын
ah yeah and also I was wondering, if there is a good situation to use u/f+1+2, d to avoid attacks
@nosleepsnow39526 жыл бұрын
G-Radiation alot of good questions which would take me forever to answer! LOL, lets see if i can make a videos on a few of those. For the last one however, u/f+1+2 has historically been great in avoiding the unblockable running tackle. In this game its a power crush but opp still gets heaps of plus frames if you block it so still a great idea to avoid it. Also use it to waste time ending rounds. Yoshi spends about two seconds up there so if youre trying to run away to win by timeout, u/f+1+2 is a great way to avoid damage
@g-radiation71546 жыл бұрын
wow, that's a pretty neat idea! I've used the move before to kill time at the end of rounds, but I never thought about evading the running power crush

Hey Snow, so I'm a scrubby Yoshimitsu player, and I've seen Eyemusician utilise and mix up his use of Poison Wind and it's extensions, do you think you could maybe do a video on Poison Wind? Maybe describing it's best uses and transitions, best mixups, how to cancel it, especially cancelling into the Rage Drive (which I don't know how to do haha), maybe even showing it's weaknesses and strengths in the neutral? That would be pretty cool, anyway thanks man for the awesome Yosh content.
@nosleepsnow39526 жыл бұрын
takeOnlyGreatness In all honesty i rarely use poison wind which is why i never considered making a video on it. ill try messing around with the string and its potential in the next week or so and if i find some good stuff ill make a video on it
@takeOnlyGreatness6 жыл бұрын
Thanks man, that'd be sweet as! I hope there's enough there to make a video on it :)

Nice music. I've only ever done one suicide at the wall against some unfortunate Paul player. Idk if it was guaranteed.

WTF i never knew you could delay tech, is that only possible at the wall..?!
@nosleepsnow39526 жыл бұрын
E-Vans Yes its only possible at the wall. While your character is falling to the ground, there is a few frames where you can tech. Delay tech is probably the best defensive option waking up from the wall because it throws off peoples timing.
@iChemicalShift6 жыл бұрын
noSleep Snow Yes that is so true. I always have problems waking up at the wall online, I hate getting mixed up :'( Thank you for this new found knowledge and tech
