When you take just about any of Kazuya's interaction with Jin out of context, it looks so weirdly father-like. Aloof, tough, and laisez-faire, but father-like nonetheless. The smirk he gives Jin looks like a dad looking at his son come a long way from where he began. His victory line "The Devil's blood should only course in me" sounds like someone who does not want his family be affected by the curse he bears. And his line towards Devil Jin is like that of a disappointed and worried parent.

Kazuya dont have anything personal against Jin, more over he didn't do so much against him. T4 Kazuya tried to take his power yes, but no personal things, and Jin smacked the man for that. T6 Jin has started WW3 of course Kazuya would place a bounty on him and war. And now T8 he did some things yeah, but they could reconcile with the help of Jun, unlike Kaz with Heihachi or Jin with Heihachi.
