A mashup of Heihachi's Tekken 2 theme from both the arcade and PS1 version, as well as the PS1 version of the end credits song for Tekken 3. This is something similar to his stage OST from Street Fighter X Tekken where round 1 is a remix of his Tekken 2 theme (Arcade/PS1 version), round 2 is a remix of his Tekken 3 theme (Arcade version) and round 3 is a remix of Tekken 3's end credits song (PS1 version). Overall, this OST is amazing a brings a heavy load of nostalgia into this! Unfortunately, it's a shame that none of the OSTs from both the main and DLC story are in the jukebox.

Really awesome how many previous themes this encompasses! His T2 and T3 stage themes; the T2 (arcade), T3, T4 and T5 intros; and I think part of his battle with Kaz in T7. Have I missed anything?

Throughout his DLC they use T4 intro theme, T2, T3, Kazumi and his battle with Kaz in T7 themes. Eddy also gets the T3 intro remix. Pretty good, wish the story was as good lol

While the explanation for him surviving 7 was dumb I do like that Heihachi's his proper Tekken 1-4 characterisation again and not the comedy character of 5 and 6 or them trying to make him sympathetic in 7.

Although I like that he is a serious villain, I also wish they had continued to explore his nuances like in Tekken 7 instead of going back to being a simple evil character. The story needs to move forward a bit. The only solution I see now is for him to become much worse and become an even worse threat than Kazuya and the final villain of the saga.

@@A4S2HI994 7 didn't add nuance to him though. It retconned him from abusive father to loving family man, said he threw Kazuya off the cliff to test if he had the Devil Gene when it was a sick way to see whether he was worthy to inherit the Zaibatsu. Despite Tekken 3 and 4 showing him wanting to combine his DNA with Ogre's blood and the Devil Gene for more power 7 spouts bullshit about him hating and wanting to destroy the Devil Gene.

@@Xehanort10It absolutely did not do that because even in Heihachi's own rosy account of his life, he was still an abusive asshole who killed his dad for power and threw his son off a cliff for no good reason, not to mention his other misdeeds over the decades.

I agree about the reason for his survival and the comedy tone of 5 & 6 (though heihachi can work in comedy) I disagree with his depiction in 7. In my opinion, the thing that makes heihachi such a compelling anti-villain, is that he does have a tragic backstory, as a man he was ruthless, but only started down a truly dark path after kazumi tried to kill him, the damage she did suggesting the damage kazuya could do, and heihachi was right about that (though he could be argued to have caused it himself). Not to mention that Heihachi genuinely believes in what he is doing, and indeed out of the three main characters is arguably the most morally honest, he knows he is a monster, but he evil he does is in service to what he views as the greater good. Both kazuya and Jin on the other hand use their power for their own selfish purposes, for kazuya it's power, for Jin it's the desire to end his own curse, seemingly at any cost. Let us not confuse Heihachi for a good guy for he is not, but he is, in my opinion, the best of the three.

@@Gurunberudo He's not an anti villain though just a villain. Kazumi tried to kill him because he'd become a threat to the world by imprisoning Jinpachi and stealing the Mishima Zaibatsu from him. Harada retconned her and her clan into Azazel worshippers because he's a Heihachi fanboy. Heihachi doesn't care about the greater good. Only power. I don't get people who say Kazuya's worse than him. It's the other way around. While it doesn't excuse Kazuya's actions being raised by Heihachi is why he's the way he is. As for Jin at least he's trying to atone for the evil things he did in 6. IMO Heihachi's the most evil of the 3.

I'm pretty sure it's called 'Destiny'. You can find it in the Tekken 7 OST. It plays during the final cutscene with Kazuya and Heihachi gruelling it out.

Heihachi is not "ascended" here. It is the power of the new Mishima technique, visible by the new red lighting combining with his blue, and the damn Heat thingy of t8.. The "ascended" as people refer to it version is when he was on the verge of death in T7, "accessing" his internal "fire", or" KI" like asians refer to it.
