In general, Claudio is fun, but his combo options feel a little lacking. 32 as STB filler is a mixed bag - GREAT hitbox on the first hit, awful axis shift and recovery on the second. This makes it a bit weird because without high execution for microdash d/f+1 or b+3, you're forced to tornado with STB d/b+1+2 or STB d+1,2 and burn STB, when in the open it feels like you want to try and save STB for STB WR1+2's absurd damage. He also suffers from a lack of interesting filler besides microdashing and meaty/high hitting ff+4, which also leads to a lack of wall carry without burning heat burst/tornado. This is especially apparent compared to legacy characters like Lili, Bryan, Kazuya with his new 3,1~d/f string, who have really good carry without burning resources. That said, I do appreciate character combo diversity compared to Tekken 7, where everyone and their mother (Kazumi FLY 3+4) got free carry options and new S! moves with later patches. Looking forward to the Raven/Master Raven reveal 🙏
