I would understand if the battle pass had specific default outfits or special win poses or something or even a unique rage art like king got for t7 “rainmaker”. Stuff like that would actually be worth it but this is just like bottom of the barrel. There is actually nothing worth in it for people to actually buy it. I shat in mk for micro transactions but they actually let you buy costumes and fatalies (not good) but this is worse.

I'm probably one of the few people who disagree. The pass is 6$, and you can get enough coins to get the next pass free if you finish it. In terms of pass costs, it's cheaper than others, as it's often ten. I'd probably pay ten anyway to get a shop item I wanted on the side. Games cost more than ever to make. There is a reason they raised it to 70. Consumers want the very, very best in graphics, gameplay, storytelling, and rich content. To get these things, you need a really good team. To have the best team and game, you have to pay them well, and spend on the best tools. Don't pay them enough, and you won't have the best game. Consumers will reflect it with their wallets and not buy the game. Then consumers expect content after the game's release. So now you have to pay for even more content, which of course, has to be at the same standard. Even importing content from T7 has time and cost attributed to it. And honestly, compared to other games, T7 has very, very reasonable pricing.

The minimum currency you can buy is 500 but this season pass costs 600 so you have to spend more. You get 600 back so it gets paid off but it's literally not worth it lol. If it paid you more than what you spent then at least there would be some incentive to buy
