He was my late brother's favorite character when we played Tekken 5 as kids and Tekken 6 as we grew older. We used our phones with PPSSPP to emulate the games, consistently selecting our favorite characters for intense battles. My choice was Jack-5 to Jack-6, and due to our competitive nature, we engaged in real fights against each other Hahaha... I feel a deep sadness that he couldn't witness his favorite character today, something he was eagerly anticipating. In his memory, I'm contemplating playing his character as a heartfelt tribute to him.

Stop giving us lee, just give us violet, he doesnt need anything to do with mishima, but its too late to fix that. The game in general feels dumbed down, like i would consider lee a zoner, not a rush down like hwarang - sort of like paul but with kicks. none of that seems to be translated from the older games. what good is a 360 overhead sweep in a game where you can 13 frame lightning upercut?

Lee was also evil and managed the western operations of the Zaibatsu, until he got kicked out when Kazuya won. So he was kinda insane as well, just not destroy the world insane. More interesting than his Mishima ties is that he's friends with Law and Paul! Law, the guy who the writers have given permanent money troubles, is close friends with the Violet Systems CEO.

I actually love this outfit. The Eye Protection couldve been a bit more stylish for Lee, but i assume its something hes showing off with the suit. Since hes a tech developer it makes sense to wear and show off his tech that he more than likely designed himself. Lee started out as a "clone" of Marshall Law, with some moves borrowed from Paul Phoenix. In his pre-Tekken 4 era, his main difference with Law was the ability to perform an infinite chain of kicks, much more useful back then because the gameplay didn't offer many options to evade it, and sidesteps were less effective and harder to perform. In later games, Lee evolved more and more into a completely different character, with a flashy and stylish moveset. Lee's greatest strength lies in his ability to poke and annoy his opponent to death. He has an assortment of fast hard-to-see pokes, and slower but safe launchers that can be used as counter hits once the opponent loses his focus. His Hitman stance embodies his provocative gameplay: it is evasive by nature and can be used to bait out brash attacks and counter them. Another of Lee's great tools is his Lee Sliding, an incredibly hard-to-see and hard-to-punish low attack.

Disagree, it's nice to see something that looks fit for combat for once. There are 'dozens' of us who want something a bit more... 'thematic' from Tekken. Lee's flamboyancy's great, but I'd rather he still looked like he was geared for combat... and not borrowing Christie's outfits... This is purely speculation but from a design perspective I'm almost certain the reason they went with the combat suit for his default costume is because we have another silver haired character in a suit; Victor. Since Victor is the newcomer, they probably felt they could take a new spin on Lee since we've already had him in suits in the previous games. And besides, it's customizable anyway. That's just my theory!

Wow, his combo routes look so different, cool. Blazing kick for a bound is very interesting. 4u3 used after bound is also different. b2,4 splat into HTM uf4 for wall ender probably isn't optimal but it looks cool lol. Goes without saying all the new just frame stuff is perfect.

You can still use his combos from tekken 7 and it does more damage in this game. Learned that from mainmanswe playing tekken 8 lee.

@@kennethforman5265 That's true for the standard b2 loops > f4,1 combos, but the b4,2,3 and WS2,4 are now spins instead of bound/screw so there's a lot different to play around with.

Really like this stage! You can see more of it if you look around a bit here on KZbin. I like Lee's outfit here, but an updated version of his T7 one is also available for people who aren't feeling it. Tekken 8 is going to be something else. I really love Lee Charlon a lot in Tekken, he's definitely probably my 6th favorite character in the series and I do love his fighting style. After seeing him now in Tekken 8 and his fighting style upgraded, that's pretty awesome and I love him in his new gear, so excited to play him again in Tekken 8!!!! Also, really love and enjoy him calling out his Hachi bot, that was so golden and priceless, lol, ah love Lee a lot!!!!
