The difference between Solitude and this song which is called Liberation is that Solitude is sad and melancholic fitting for Kazumi's loneliness and "Solitude" and Heihachi's death. Liberation is more triumphant sounding and hopeful which implies Jin and Kazuya will be "Liberated" from their Devil Genes and Kazuya will be good again.

inb4 Jun teaches Jin how to use the Kazama powers and Jin takes Kazuya's Devil and sacrifices himself somehow. Kazuya is a really tragic character that was turned into an anti-hero through circumstance and eventually threw away his humanity altogether, like he'd given up. In spite of that, we've seen small signs of humanity in him all throughout the series. He's done terrible things, but when I think about it, I can't help but think it wasn't really his fault. Even if it doesn't excuse his actions, I feel bad for him. Meanwhile, Jin was a hero who deliberately turned himself into a villain for ultimately selfish reasons. He started ww3, and ended up being the worst of all the Mishimas. So that begs the question, how is he going to redeem himself? Jin beating and/or killing Kazuya is way too obvious, and Jun just saving both of them seems too easy.

I don't think he will die it's either he win the battle and spare his son, and finally accepting the truth that his family was destroyed by the Hachijos and his main nemesis his father Heihachi is a good guy in the harsh sense. If Jin wins like Tekken Tag 1 and Tekken 4's conclusion, prophecize Jin won't kill him because unlike Jinpaichi who was controlled by an unknown demonic being that is not related to the Devil gene, Kazuya can be persuaded to stop and Jun was the reason why he lost against Heihachi in Tekken which made Devil's control weak Everyone have to remember Kazuya is really the main reason why Tekken as a franchise, corrupted family, wave dashing, dorya and throwing people off cliff exists

@@vikingfromnorth45 I don't think Reina is gonna kill her relative aka brother or Jin, she may do some sinister things, because she is inflicted with that same treacherous curse of the Mishimas, but she is most likely gonna see things from a out of the box perspective. And what I mean about that, the only way to entirely stop the Mishima fued is either kill all the Mishimas, or persuade Kazuya to stop and there is multiple hints that supports that. For one Jun is here and her sole purpose is to stop the Mishima bloodshed and reunit with her son and Husband in peaceful terms. And Heihachi when was asked by the reporter of why he doesn't want to stop fighting between his son, he looks at him with a negative look in which he thinks it's almost impossible to do because of all the trauma he cause to his son and Devil is still in him. Heihachi doesn't really hate his son, he just knew it was gonna be too late and wanted his son to be the only man to end him because he knows how much damage he cause to him besides wanting to stop him for good because he doesn't want to world to be rule in chaos with Devil in control.

I hope Harada subverts expectations and have Kazuya redeem himself, maybe not in 8, as i'm sure they want to drive the story further, but it'll be redundant if they repeat the same with him and Jin. He deserves peace and unification with his family. The challenge is to find a new appealing threat to replace Kazuya, he's such a badass character it's hard to think of anything else.

This is definitely a Taku Inoue track. Glad to have him return to compose more awesome Tekken 8 soundtrack. Edit : Turns out, it's the newcomer Tekken composer, mifumei that made this track. He sure really captured the distinct sound signatures of Taku Inoue's EDM and drum and bass compositions.

Liberation is the name of the song,is like kazuya himself has finally being liberated from his father Heihachi at the end of Tekken 7. this is why they put kazuya in the main menu.

I think this is sign that Jun will succeed in saving Jin and Kazuya. This theme sounds very upbeat and hopeful and not sad like Soltitude although this still sounds like a sequel of Soltitude. I visualize this as the background music of an epilogue scene where Kazuya after getting cleansed dissolves the Zaibatsu, sells off its assets to help repair the world he destroyed when he was possessed . He then moves to Yakushima to start a quiet life with Jun away from the public.

This song is really fucking good but it is kinda weird seeing kazuya looking demonic as hell and you got this upbeat song playing like the reason why solitude worked for heihachi is because dude was actually gonna die and the way he looked in the background just hits so hard like the end was approching for him.
