UFO in the top left corner at 4:10. I've been to Peru, so I really love how detailed that stage is. The real Machu Picchu has a different layout and obviously doesn't have a coffee brewery on site (that'd be down in Aguas Calientes), but the architecture of the ruins is basically the same. The misty clouds drifting through the ruins and individual stones are a nice touch, though the roaming alpacas don't have ear decorations. And I absolutely love the music. It makes me want to dust off and play the quena I brought back from there.

I think it's 2 stances, first stance auto parries highs and lows but is vulnerable to mids so can get launched easily and then her back turned stance auto parries mids and not lows and highs... we only ever saw her auto parry a mid in backturn.. and it's 100% auto parry in both stances. Possibly different parry animation depending on whether its a punch or a kick and maybe depending what frame disadvantage the moves are also. Looks fun but I don't think it's gonna be that hard to play against as people think.

Its confirmed, 1 stance dodges both highs and lows. And when in heat, this stance counterhits highs and lows. The only counter is mid, because when she is using the stance, she cant block and only mids will hit, rest will either be dodged or countered.

Both, hilarious for the user and annoying for the opponent. The character is also a "blend" of different dodging styles: 1) You have the "parry" dodge where you have to time it and initiate an immediate counter occurs. You can see it when she evades Bryans punch, but also a low that looks like a heat dash into stance + counter. 2) You have the "weave" dodge where you have to imput a specific way for the character to dodge into whiff like Steve, except unlike Steve's, Asucena's moves have crouching, jumping, and big side/back-stepping built into them. A lot of them are show vs Lily and Hworang. 3) You have the "stance" dodge where the character automatically dodges while in it, complete with a stance extension as her walking forward and a frame advantage. There are 2 cases in the trailer where the stance extension also works like a "parry" (immediately using a counter when struck as opposed to just dodging).

I have 2 videos on my channel just trying out kazuya, which I haven't used in.. 2 or 3 years in Tekken 7 (havent played Tekken 7 as a whole in the last 2-3 years as it's dead on PS4 and those loading times would kill me from old age) Yes, I know, I suck with kazuya. Tekken 7 is the 1st game I used him besides Tekken 2 20 years ago and Ive never played Tekken against people that know anything until Tekken 7. I'm a lee and dragunov main. And don't get fooled by the prowess, I got 24.000 and around brawler rank after the A.I. match. I tried Claudio the most after kazuya and he 100% feels like a soul calibur character. Even the way he moves and the iWR 2. The whole heat mechanic stinks of soul calibur. The spam of moves, with slow downs, feels very dead or alive. Just have a zoom in on the face as they get hit and be obvious about it. Btw... Did you play the beta?

Rest assured the sway is automatic, the camera shake and the the fact that it only comes out when the attack is about to connect are huge indicators of that. This is basically: "You don't know how to side step? Pick Azucena, she will do it for you"

To be honest I loved lidias character design and moveset. Her animations were CLEAN and she represented her own fighting style elegantly. Instead of Paul’s „I give you heavy damage with heavy attacks on my whole moveset“ she had sway kicks, solid moves you would ACTUALLY see in real life in tournaments etc. You don’t see anyone in karate doing a god damn arm bar while jumping straight onto you. It needs perfect combination, clear timing etc. I’d love to see lidia back. She was one of a kind.

I guess they decided to trim the fat on the main roster, so that they could add more DLC characters. Hence, they decided to replace Katerina, Josie and Chloe with Azucena, which I think is a good move, cause too many characters make it difficult for the characters to stand out. I would love to see Bruce return as DLC. Anna for sure is gonna be DLC. There's no way, they'd keep an iconic character like her out of the game.

Very cool design, will definitely try her out. Also she is indeed looks like a Lucky Katarina, but the only thing resembles Joise/Bruce is the knee move. So I wouldn't think Josie is dead, but she may be DLC. If they remove the crybaby stuff, Josie can be a cool character. But yeah, other two is gone, thank god.
