I don’t like how they’re just nerfing things just to nerf. She’s an execution character meaning you get rewarded with high damage for playing her correctly. So why are they taking that away?

Exactly. And some people in the Tekken Community have the nerve to ask why her usage rate isn’t higher. High execution and now nerfed damage is not a great combination. It’s almost like they don’t want people to use her. I’m sticking with Nina, but still.

It’s very frustrating that Nina has basically been ignored since Tekken 8’s launch, and now nerfs galore when she’s never even been viewed as broken. What really P’s me off the most is that for the amount of brain power you need to execute Nina properly is exhausting to do lukewarm damage now, where as the fan favorites like Lars and Law can be brain-dead and button-mash you to death with 0 thought or strategy behind it 💀 At the end of the day tho, ima stand beside Nina. She’s been my main since Tekken 3 😌

I’m just going to leave this here… on the Secluded Training Ground stage (Reina’s stage with the breakable walls) The combo I used with Nina used to do 119 dmg, now… that same combo does 105 max. Input? CH➡️3⬇️↘️➡️1↘️3,2 SS1↙️2 ↙️3+4,3⬇️↘️➡️4,3WALLBREAK ↙️2 HEAT (2+3) ⬇️↘️➡️4,3,1+2 WALLBREAK RUNNING 1+2 ➡️➡️Charge 1+2

@@impacted_seer Nice try, but I actually read the patch notes when they came out. Assuming that you’re not smarter than a fifth grader, my whole point was… due to the ↙️2 nerf (which I’m sure you can’t even pull off during a combo) the scaling to my wall combo was nerfed significantly. 105 is still good, but ((in my fifth grade teacher voice)) 119 is a way bigger number than 105.

@@impacted_seer​​⁠​⁠ Do you not remember her Tekken 7 damage? They already nerfed the ⬅️4 counter hit starter from the gate with Tekken 8. Now they’re patting the whiny babies backs with the nerf of ↙️2. High damage is supposed to be the Nina player’s reward for precise input placement. Now it’s not even worth the risk of dropping combos to perform a ➡️➡️↘️3,2↙️2 as a follow up to the first ↙️2 tailspin. The combos that are shown here are definitely not easy to pull off especially not online. Hell, I’ve never even fought another Nina player who can actually pull off these combos during a fight.

@@BCDC123 I play Nina and I can do most of the db2 combos online It’s all about practice, Nina isn’t supposed to be easy. Shes a difficult character who gets rewarded for her execution like you said But in a game like tekken where aggressiveness is so important, high combo damage and good pressure is bound to be nerfed

I have pulled off the ➡️➡️↘️3,2↙️4 after a ↙️2 tailspin online but I’m just me 😂. And they wonder why Nina’s usage rate isn’t as high as what it should be for a legacy character… majority of Tekken players either can’t pull off these combos or refuse to risk dropping them.
