One of my favorite Paul things is catching someone with a deathfist to get into heat, deathfist heat dash into deathfist. 80% hp and it's gotta feel bad for them

Tekken 8 Paul is such a fun character. They made him more exciting and hype to play with his new moveset. The haircut could have been done better but his T7 outfit looks amazing in this game.

Excellent breakdown. As a Paul main, I'd say you did a great job of articulating the utility of a lot of his most powerful tools. A lot of other breakdowns I've watched simply don't understand the dynamics of the character or how intelligently he can be used.

Content is brilliant, but how come the drops are so sporadic? We got Kaz, Jin, Reina, and Devil Jin in the first week or so. It now takes like several weeks to get the next entry.

@@i.k.9917 I know, I am aware of that. Scheduling for this series is all over the place. Not expecting Arya to drop an episode a day or several a week, but the timings are weird. We got the first 4 in the first 2 weeks. Then we got 2 within 7 days of eachother, then nothing for nearly a month, then another within a week, then nothing for 3 weeks, and once again another 3 weeks. I get people have lives, but I think I’d rather a consistent upload schedule rather than sporadic seemingly random drops.

Paul is just the definition of a STRONG character. Like yes, you can center your game plan with just doing either a demoman or deathfist. I say strong, because he has a fuck ton of tools, both keepout, in your face, and a throw game. Not to mention, his excellent combo damage potentials. Paul is able to do this without relying on being cheesy (while yes, he CAN cheese opponents). But yeah, if there's anything wrong with Paul, is just that he's not as flashy as the other characters. Regardless, pretty funny to obliterate opponent's health with deathfistS.

Did you notice any changes in demolition man It's not hitting like Tekken 7 It's not hitting as clean hit even I'm close to my opponent

Yeah big time it’s really off. Best tip I can give is to crouchdash cancel into it. Still works great at wall but definitely some jank there in neutral

It’s being patched in 1.04 (May 7-8 2024). There’s an unintended behavior where sometimes you don’t combo on a clean hit due to a tracking issue. Should be better this week.

Ah, neat. With how long it's been since the last one, and with how the Tekken community is endlessly angry and complaining about the game, I thought this series had been cancelled by low interest. Is no one talking about paul's hitbox issues? Unreliable combos on new dlc chaemrs. Also how having no poke affects his gameplay at top level. No one picks him. His demoman first hit whiffs even on heat dash
