@@Keyhanmorad the point of showing us those pictures was to show us what the characters are doing after the end of the game. Otherwise why bother showing us those pictures in the first place if they could be before they died? It doesn't make sense.

the reason why Claudios "death" made me sad is because he was introduced in the Tekken 7 and now he got killed off in Tekken 8 like it was nothing which means he may not appear in the next game at all

Zafina and Claudio are indeed strong characters story wise but I think they have done this to them so the devil gene issue could be settled in the final fight between jin and kaz because if Zafina and Claudio had the ability to really take kaz down the final fight of jin and kaz wouldn’t have a meaning

May explain why Zafina's character episode ending is the way it is. It felt like the alternate ending to conclude the main story with her and Claudio working together in full strength against Jin and Kazuya to rid them of the devil gene along with Azazel within Zafina's orb with a strike from Claudio's magical arrow. It's still a much better way they could have handled Zafina's exit though but at least she survives based on good ending for Jin. Makes me wonder what Tekken 8 story originally was before Zafina got reintroduced late as DLC in T7 with Azazel possession lore added to her. They sure built her up well for no payoff being involved in the main story.

@@LoneTaurus82 yep exactly that’s what I thought. I actually liked Zafina ending that’s enough to prove she’s a really strong character along with Claudio. And YEAH nice thing you mentioned what t8 original story would have been. I heard that Reina was a planned character since t7 reveal, so that means t8 would have focused more on Reina and her devil gene, because we barely know anything about her in the game and how she got the devil gene, so that must be it.

Namco loves Mishimas too much, it was so easy to make a story line with a war between the light and the dark but they just pushed that out of the story, next game is going to be Jin again going after Reina or some bs like that

I think they're both still alive since they're shown in the credits scene from the good ending and Claudio not stopping Kazuya maybe shows this was Claudio's biggest challenge ever and Kazuya is much more powerful than some realize, besides we don't know Claudio that much anyway since he just came in T7 and him stopping Kazuya already IMO would feel so fast and forced fed. The long buildup for Jun with who she is and how she ended up giving Angel powers to Jin to stop Kazuya kinda felt more satisfying especially considering we are LITERALLY talking about Devil and Angel powers which it make sense for them to be a ultimate power in not just the Tekken world but in any other world as well. And if we're gonna talk about potentials that are being wasted: I think characters like Paul and Asuka fits the case more.

Zafina was probably the easiest case of being alive they could have cleared up on the Lili's airplane scene with the group. Panda carried her off passed out at the Colliseium but was just sitting by Ling with everyone else acting like they didnt have a care in the world for her. That was terrible storyboarding. At least have Ling mention Zafina with an update on her condition or show she is onboard resting.

I really hoped those would become a couple to be honest. Like, they had the same motives, Zafina last hope was to find Claudio and they were literally the hottest characters in the game! Who knows, maybe Claudio was greatly injured and Zafina just fainted, but only time will tell.

No he’s alive if you pay attention to the pictures at the end of Jin’s ending it’s a picture of zafina and if you pay attention enough you can see Claudio’s leg

Exactly, it's because of your videos i start , like Zafina and Cauldio more. I thought it would've been a combination with Jun and Jin to take dwn True Devil Kazuya with him having Azazels power. Hudge let dwn and lk disappointed how they handel most these characters abd tbh i felt like they werent focused after nearly 10yrs hudge let dwn smh 🤦

The parallels are almost too intentional in that sense for her. Day 1 I was so bummed what they did to her in the main story I almost didn't want to play it but in spite of her nerfs I'm still finding her fun to play although it is more challenging to use her in Tekken 8 than in T7 but it is does feel more rewarding when you do win with her now. Hopefully she will get some buffs in future patches as the game cooks more.

So Claudio is now the Maxi(Soul Calibur ) of Tekken. Maxi was seemingly killed multiple times in the series only to came back for new each installments. Harada can pretty much pull a Claudio is alive at any rate after 5 years out of thin air. I doubt the two of them are going to be unplayable by next installment unless who else wants new character replacements?

Very interesting theory there. I do notice in her character episode ending there is still some slightly violet/purplish aura still around her arm when it returned to normal although most say this wouldn't be canon ending but you never know.

I hope they do a One Piece style fake out death, and bring these characters back because Rain has the devil gene they are needed. I feel like she was just being on the sidelines to let the Heavy Hitters duke it out, then plan her revenge on those two for killing her father. When I play through the story mode I get the feeling that she is calculating and planning out her moves to catch her enemies when they are vulnerable. That tells me she's also smart when making her move.

You have to play Zafina story to get a bigger picture on what was going on. I said this on another video where you were talking about these two. The fact that you are making videos without the full story is disappointing. Some things are still left to imagination, but it does explain why she went to the colosseum.

Surely she knew Kazuya would be there waiting on her. The way it plays it looks like she really had no plan there. I saw the purple mist coming in but what was that all about?

I wish they became friends before so that there would be conflict when Claudio finally faces the worst case scenario for Zafina. Imagine the scene when Thanos caught Gamora and she begs for Starlord to kill her.

They both are a strong counter to the plot and lmo its the same reason why miguel doesnt even appear in t8. his entire plot is to get revenge on jin, in a game where jin is suppose to be the hero, and shine as protagonist. Was not impossible to include him or have a better story for claudio and zafina, but this include budget and good writers. All of this resouces for who? Characters with a really low pickrate. For me, this is the true reason behind. Honestly for me its sad, cuz l like and play all 3 chars l mention...

The story is good, but this is a Jin story not Jin vs Kazuya. Characters like Asuka, Zafina, Claudio, Kazuya especially became redundant. Kazuya became this One sided" I want to destroy and conquer the world" douche bag and Asuka who finally met Jin, she didn’t say thing about her relationship to her Clan's relative Jin. And Claudio who hinted he has a transformation didn’t reveal it and Zafina is just a simple host to Azazel that didn’t improve the story at all.

Blame the lazy writers for Zafina's poor role in the story. They had so many other ways they could have written her but instead they did make her just a weak fotrune teller host of Azazel yet in the game she clearly shows she can wield and use his powers well when unchecked. They screwed that up by making Claudio put a stronger seal on her arm that was part of her back story coming into T8 in her bio. I think that may be why she was under powered to unleash Azazel powers against Kazuya. If they had written her better with fight sequences before she got overtaken she would have added more to the story and stood out more. Claudio at least got a chance to unleash full attack on Kazuya before he got waisted but Zafina got nothing at all which was a big waste to her hype of having ability to use Azazel power more due to his further possession of her as you during one of her intros in the game when she slams her left arm down showing she has more than average human strength within her.

moonsault, I think you set the story expectations way too high. Lol Look at the characters that debuted in Tekken 7. Leroy and Claudio are the only ones they brought back as part of the main roster. Lots of people hated Lucky Chloe, most people didn't care for Gigas, Katarina, Lucky Chloe, and Josie. They bit the dust by being small fry, story wise. Zafina had a small role in Tekken 6, and now Tekken 8. You forget that Kazuya has gotten so much stronger. If Claudio couldn't get the job done, it had to be Jin to do it. That's where Jun came in.

Zafina and Claudio couldn't defeat Kazuya. Zafina couldn't even contain Azazel. Kazuya is way stronger than even him. Claudio has the ability to hurt or even kill Kazuya with help, but also stands no chance otherwise. It's silly to think Kazuya wouldn't successfully resist with him being obviously more powerful. Jun could defeat Kazuya theoretically with help. But the disgrace of a man like Kazuya being defeated by the mother of his child would prevent Jun's dream of reuniting her family. That's why Jun stayed out of it-- But very obviously helped Jin defeat Kazuya. Indirectly of course.
