​​@@Bloodhound_214 you can only electric out of df3 during heat. easy electrics during heat is a shared mishima trait and wave dash isn't the difficult part. df3 is really only a factor at beginner level where people aren't going to know how to place electrics properly anyway.

@@Bloodhound_214 Devil Jin has d3+4 and Jin has it too and they both had it for a while. People are not calling Jin a fake Mishima for this though, he simply does not play like a Mishima and doesn't have neither the advantages nor the disadvantages Mishimas have. Reina is borderline a Mishima, especially since her flash punch doesn't lead to knockdown (Heihachi's used to wallsplat too). Also all Electrics are easy mode on heat, if you fail the just frame they still come out as Electrics but they cost heat meter. Jin is the ONLY character that can get his just frame move out without needing to time it correctly and without heat, using his new df2 stance transition.

@@georgegkoumas5026 yeah I see a lot of people saying that df 2 gives you free electrics and it does I guess it’s because I’m thinking everyone plays Jin like me jin is not a Mishima he changed his fighting style to not be a Mishima every character that has an electric gets it for free in heat the df2 into electrics is mostly a gimmick when you can actually do electrics you don’t need that gimmick

To be fair, Jin isn’t exactly a pure Mishima but he’s considered an exception. CD+4 is slower than the other Mishimas (20f for jin and 16 for the other mishimas.) He doesn’t have an electric wind god fist - he has an electric wind HOOK fist. Does not have the usual 112 flash punch. Reina is basically like heihachi with obvious differences.

If you think about it, he's telling the truth. Tekken 8 is focused heavily on offense and using your own bullshit before your opponent uses their bullshit. But Reina, while not being the hardest Mishima is still a very hard character. Lots of people describe Tekken 8 as the most mashy Tekken game, and when a good Reina plays, it looks like she is mashing a lot but in reality it's just smart offense given how hard her kit is to open the opponent with the lack of good lows and tons of stance transitions

The risk reward on his grabs are kinda really good. some of his grabs don't have a readable animation to inform you how to break. the startup frames are fast making you need to hard read a duck. and that's it. you are only able to hard read and duck punish. you can't side step. once grabbed you are kind of in a 33/33/33 chance. and if you break a grab, there is no punish. he will just go for another grab. a single input that will take 60% of your life bar. The throw damage is insane. Sure, I get it that he's bad in high level play, but purple ranks and below, he's kind of a menace.

0:52 sad thing is that i only encountered a single jack-8. after a couple of weeks of playing, i never saw a single jack-8 ever again. Nowadays, I only encounter Paul, King, Hwoarang, Victor, Eddy, and Azucena users. Rarely any other characters and *NEVER* another Jack-8 user.

It's not about who you play, it's about how. I play a lot of mid to low tier characters and I participated in more than a few tournaments. You can overcome even a Stupid tool kit by just really understanding the MU. At the end of the day, everyone has the same ability to learn and adapt.
