Now to all my new Lars players who have never played a Mishima before please understand that this is something that you have to build respect for. Don’t just run in doing this as people will mash buttons but that doesn’t mean this can’t be effective or useful.

wave dashing works best after knock down or to mix up defensive players, there's almost no situation where you should be raw wave dashing.

Niko, I know an easier way. Just Up or down followed with gently sliding your finger on back. So, F3 then UP or DOWN + Gently sliding finger on back. It's like you glide your finger on up/back or down/back immediately after F3. With this, you dash cancel without moving up or down easier.

Everyone loves jabbing Lars out of stances. In my experience, I only end up doing 2 or 3 DEN's to cover distance. Either from full screen, or for a combo after unblockable.

Lars got a damage buff to DEN 4. It has 4 extra damage now. It didn't suprise me too much, hopefully there's more in 1.08

im a keyboard/hitbox user i just fold forward and tap down with middle finger to cancel the stance

If you are using keyboard, this is more easier. Keep your finger relaxed, press with minimal pressure (hope you have linear switches). f3, ssu Just repeat this two button, you will get the rhythm soon.

Perfect, this is one of the things I was wanting to learn from you. The other is that back swiping move you do, that makes you dash backwards into another entry stance. How do you do that? I've looked all over online and can't find it anywhere. I appreciate any help 🙂 Edit: I figured it out. For anyone looking for this, you have to use Lightning Starter (WS+2), then hit db as the move is coming out.

Hells yes. It opens up a new world for Lars. Once I learned it, I realized that Lars has potential to destroy all those S tiers. It just takes the right person behind the controller.

its rather gimmicky as smart players know raw sen3 dashing without an immediate press is not real so they will punish you for it past Bushin ranks

the thing is ppl between 1-2 seconds past fujin will certainly press a button and unless they dont know the Lars matchup and are scared of your pressure maybe but most the time someone will press a button if they see your not pressing

That's only if you spam it. Mix it up with some follow ups sometimes, and they will start to hesitate a lot. Works wonders. Lars is S rank in my books. People just have to know how to use all his tools.

@@force5926 Lars is no where near S rank if anything he's bottom 3-5 , weak neutral, horrible against pressure characters like nina, xiaoyu, lidia, weak lows that lead to almost no real reward for the - frames they are and his stances arent real pressure smart players lab against Lars in blue ranks and gold ranks take away just about every tool he can use ; even when im not fighting as Lars I find him an easy matchup to fight against because his gameplan is fairly linear
