You have a good eye my friend, SF2 figures are 6"-7" (with Guile's hair probably 10 haha) I used a green screen but had to mask them out in Photoshop due to spillage 😒 .... the make them B & W and then re colour them again ..... do you have a trick or two for when you are doing Green Screen? I need to practice it a little more I guess 😊

To open up for the next attack, keeping them closer to the body meant their leg movements ( the legs were connected to helping hands) had to be shorter and I would of had to of done more camera movement, still learning how to narrow it down though so if you have any good clips with SM examples please let me know! I am eager to learn!

@@KarimDavisFilms I've practiced taekwondo from 2009. Kicks are something the art focuses a lot on, and keeping the techniques tight without a lot unnecessary movement is one of its main focuses, even though we have a lot of spinning techniques. It's difficult in terms of balance, speed and defense to throw your techniques with fully extended limbs until contact point, than extending just before hitting. Our teachers teach us to throw those sorts of kicks only in shows or seminar type of situations only for the audience. Otherwise, to create the maximum amount of torque with a minimal loss of speed, you should extend your limb(s) only prior to hitting. That also benefits the return to the starting position, especially if you miss your target. Guess that's why it stood out to me. However, rarely in movies or in any sort of entertainment are the fight scenes accurate. I doubt the joints of the figurines would allow for such compact movement though.

@@Alpdude ah okay, yes I completely agree, when in a tournament/competition (or self defense situation for that matter) wasted motion is counter productive to say the least, I am sure from your point of view it can be frustrating watching bad techniques getting thrown around all the time in movies 😂😂 You can check out my 3 Jeet Kune Do live action interviews / short films I have done with instructor Tommy Carruthers in Scotland and Germany for the #Ifo. I am sure that would be interesting as they focus on Bruce Lee's "economy of motion" and "Deception" aspect.
