It may just be the nostalgia, but I personally prefer the arcade version. Plus, it’s super interesting to see Tekken 2 characters in the Tekken 3 style. Did you know? In the arcade version of TTT, when you select Devil, his eyes roll back Undertaker style when he poses. This was only included in the arcade version.

I also never noticed that Julia wore a necklace on her college student attire! That was cool to find out. Just remineder tekken tag ps2 size is just about 800mb, slightly bigger than tekken 3 on ps1. That's impressive the graphics is way better than tekken 3.

Actually a pretty unique case when console version is graphically better than the arcade one. Because usually it’s quite the opposite. Another example I can think of is the first Soul Calbur, it had the same situation.
@michaelsong55552 жыл бұрын
Obviously, PS2 version has better graphic, but as far as gameplay is concerned (hitbox, move pool, etc), was there any difference between the arcade version and the PS2 version?
@RisingUppercut2 жыл бұрын
Not that I'm directly aware of, I once read that the might have been a few unnoticeable changes. So it's pretty much the grapichs that was the main makeover.
