To all the people talking shit about Knee not ducking: SSL~B is the superior option select against Heihachi, you avoid almost all of his mids as well as hellsweep and db2. Generic d4 will hit you but who gives a shit about taking 9 pts of damage into disadvantage for the player landing the d4. Hei's fF3 is safe on block at -3 into OC and will take over half life with a TA!. Random ducking against Heihachi will get you killed. You don't simply throw out linear low crushing moves either against the player with the best movement in the world.

However knee said, the use of tagging and countering tags was much better done by jdcr and hence he won. :) hope that clears up the confusion.

Tekken has evolved so damn much, it puts soul caliber to damn shame, I don't even think MKX and Killer Instinct can compete, this is true skill - and not just some mechanic abuse. When you can block mid combo, that's not mechanic abuse, that's just skill on your part to break your combo and block the counter.
@TDBobbyhill11 жыл бұрын
I think it comes down to preference, It's easier to do button combos ( like kings grabs, 10 hits, ect...) with stick but that doesn't make stick cheap to me. Most of the arcade cabinets come with controller ports and if the developers intended for you to play with just sticks then the game would never come out for consoles and tournaments would only be on arcade.

The risk vs reward in this game was very unbalanced. Think about it this way. In TTT2 if you hop kick and it was blocked you eat a 13 frame punish, maybe like 30ish damage, if that hop kick hits combo damage was so high you could easily do 85%+ of a life bar. That's why TTT2 just became a game a launchers and mishimsas were so top tier because electrics are the best launchers in the game. Rage was also crazy to manage in TTT2. TTT2 is vastly more complex than T7 is and I think that's mainly why it suffered. T7 is way more balanced overall and not as launcher heavy. TTT2 was definitely fun though.
