Honestly the biggest thorn in the side of the underworld is Luffy and the SH crew 1. Destruction of Baroque Works 2. He took Franky, taking probably major connection for shipping underworld 3. By Luffy's fault one of the biggest slave trade nodes got closed 4. Destroying the SMILEs entire manufacturing 5. Removing Ceasar from the underworld dealings 6. Exposed and destroyed the Dressrosa underworld node 7. Taking Hajrudin and his crew out of the mercenary business 8. Ruining the biggest underworld party 9. In future destroying probably one of the biggest weapon manufacturing nodes (Wano) Honestly only emperor of the underworld that likes Luffy is Morgans.

lets not forget that Ace Luffy and Sabo before encountering their first pirate the Captain Bluejam they took on the Underworld when they where kids. Because two of the brokers seen during Caesar's broadcast in Chapter 675 resemble a pair of thugs who fought Luffy and Ace during their childhood, seen in a flashback in Chapter 589. This was later pointed out in the third volume of One Piece Magazine.

@@josegar30 cigarettes didn't used to come filtered at all, so thus the filter. As for wanting to inhale as much as possible, you want to inhale nicotine, not so much all the rest of the things that cigs are full of. Especially in more modern times.

@@josegar30 simply put, filtering tar. that's the same reason you use a bong. and both the long tube of the cigarette stick and water of a bong serves to cool the smoke Which is far more comfortable and the increased cold surface area tends to make tar condensate which acts like the tower in a distiller keeping only the purest stuff going to the lower pressure area where you want the pure stuff to condensate (in yo lung)

The most important thing in the underworld (and in the normal business world) is trust. Once you know how to make money that is easy. However, trust is hard. If there is no trust there is no deal then there is no money. You can make back lost money but earning trust back that you lost is next to impossible.

Now that you mention it... I dont think SWORD is run by Sengoku or Garp I bet Akainu made a Deal with Aokiji. The one who lost the battle would become the leader of Sword and "leave" the Marines That way the Gorosei (who have dealing with the underworld though CP0) would be blind to the activities of Sword And it makes sense considering everyone assumes Aokiji and Akainu hate each other. Even their powers are opposites. So the biggest surprise would come from them actually being cooperative with each other to acomplish a common goal. Yes they disagree in many things but neither of them likes the nobles that much apparently. And Akainu clearly has no love for the Gorosei.

Unfortunately, “Drug” is Peclo’s surname and “Peclo” is actually his given name since, like Japan, surnames come before given names in the One Piece world lol. Drug would be a cool first name though.

Judging from the cover story page with Shanks hanging out two trenchcoated animals and given him being from the West Blue I believe he is a member of one of the Five Families of the West and the Gum-Gum fruit was meant to be traded in the underworld before being eaten by Luffy and Shanks was killed or rumbled by the client due to him having authority as a high ranked member of the Five Families

I just started getting back into One Piece after not reading or watching it for 2 years. I was in the Big mom arc after Lucy crashed the wedding but he hasn’t tried escaping Cake Island yet. I’ve spent a couple hours jogging my memory with videos to remember the important details of the story up to that point in the story. I have a theory: Kuzan didn't really leave the Marines. Sakazuki probably made a deal with him. They battle it out and whoever won will become the new Fleet Admiral. And whoever lost will head SWORD, which entails 'leaving' the marines and becoming a double agent. It is highly possible that Kuzan is the head of SWORD and is still fully devoted to the Marines. Just like how X-Drake is an undercover in Kaido's crew, Kuzan is also an undercover in Blackbeard's.
