Here is how I think Zoro is gonna handle his swords: Zoro is gonna ascend Enma, but then choose to return it to Hiyori "I used Oden's sword to cut down Kaido, but I was not it's master, just a vessel to carry it's will, and now it's will is to be returned to Hiyori" And then Kitetsu recognising Zoro as swordsman gives the Nidai "If you could reign in Enma, then this cursed sword will also bend to your will" Then he'll attain the shodai, but not use it. After he becomes the world greatest swordsman (ascending the Wado in the process) he'll return it to Koshiro/place it on Kuina's grave, as their mutual ambition is fulfilled. And then he wields the three kitetsu

I'm going to add one really interesting reason why Enma will achieve the black blade status before Wado: Dreams You could argue that for a blade to become a black blade, it would need to fulfill its dream. Wado's dream would be turning Zoro/Kuina into the greatest swordsman. Enma's dream would be defeating Kaido. Shusui's dream could have been freeing Wano from dragons(we dont know when Shusui became a black blade). Yoru's dream would be similar to Wado's: Turning Mihawk into the greatest swordsman. This would make a lot of sense from a writing perspective, and also gives swords even more personality. Heck, it could explain why cursed swords are cursed: Swords that have failed to achieve their dreams. And then it could be argued that a cursed sword would act horribly against swordsmen that arent able of achieving the sword's dream, but would be okay with swordsmen that hold enough promise to fill their dreams. We dont have any evidence that Enma was cursed prior to Oden's death. We only have word of mouth, but that could have been the assumption after the blade was inspected post-Oden's death. Where the blade became cursed after Oden's death, and Kitetsu assuming it always had been cursed.

What if, when Zoro masters his Asura CoC mode, he can store any extra swords he gets within the Asura blades and bring them out much more freely than he can now. Maybe he could even just bring a single sword out and intermittently use different sword style, four or five sword style. He could even get Shusui back and still use it with Asura.

I genuinely believe he will at some point. There is literally no point giving someone that sword and Zoro doesn't even at least try to use it. Plus it would be fitting if one of his final opponents was an old swordmaster. Cause for all we know this old man could be the world's strongest swordmaster and he's the one who have Mihawk his title because I find it odd that out of ALL THE ELDER he's the only one carrying a sword around and someone of his status doesn't just carry a sword for no reason.

I think that Zoro will return enma to Momo at the end of the arc since it was ment for him. After all enma was more of a training sword rather than a permanent one. He will receive the Nidai Kitetsu as a replacement so he will have two cursed swords. And at the end of the series after defeating the bold Gorosei he will take his sword and returning the Wado at Kuinas grave since he kept his promise and became the greatest swordsman in the world.Anyway that's my theory

@@carlosbrambila4667 The problem for me with Zoro keeping Enma story wise even after turning it to a black blade is that it will no longer serve a way for zoro to grow stronger. His haki became more powerful with enma but I think he needs a new challenge to become even stronger and that's the combination of two cursed blades. If you think about it the only sword that had to make his own and risk himself to conquer was the Sandai.

Why doesn’t zoro learn to make hands and heads like he does with ashura, but that allow him to become a swordsman who can have styles 1-9. So that thing Oda said when he is older turns out true and then some, and depending on what he produces like six arms and 1 head that’s a 7 style. Or 3 heads and 4 arms that can be a different 7 style. Indra mode, Yama mode etc. Ashura can still be his maxed out mode

Until we know more about how he actually does the thing, you cant really assume that he can just create however many heads/arms he wants to. Also, its not that easy to just learn 6 more styles of swordsmanship. Assuming he subconsciously uses Conqueror's Haki to use Ashura, he would need to train with conqueror's haki, which he still doesn't even know he has. And even then, he cant use Ashura for extended time, haki runs out.

you can check pirate warriors 4 zoro's combos (yeah not canon) but there is moveset that he use 9 swords for extra slashes in a normal combo...you can check the pirate warriors 4 gameplay...they already made shanks moveset long before that we know about coc coated attacks

I think ones each goal/inherited Will of the swords gets fulfilled, they become black blades. 1.Enma gets black after defeating/killing Kaido 2. Nidai/Sandai Kitetsu gets black after defeating Ghandi with the Shodai Kitetsu. 3. Wado Ichimonji at last would get black after defeating Mihawk.

There's a simple way zoro uses the 3 kitetsu. 1- kuina is alive. So zoro gives the wado back. And gets the nidai. 2- something happens during his fight with samurai gandhi, and gandhi gets enma and zoro get the shodai, because shenanigans. Otherwise... I don't see Zoro ever not using the wado

Here’s my crackhead theory: Is it not possible that maybe Brook could inherit a Kitetsu? His being a walking corpse and likened to the devil at one point would be a funny bit of foreshadowing. Like, sure, the cane is his signature weapon, but its still a sword, and it would be cool to see Brook fight normally with his cane sword, and then when things get serious he fights with a Kitetsu blade, be it Nidai or Sandai.

@@drm726 I dunno, Ryuma was able to use Brook’s techniques fairly well despite having a katana. I feel like Brook’s swordsmanship isn’t really that specifically tied to his cane sword, as you can still thrust with a katana. A similar example one could make is Zoro usinf Santoryu with Kamazo’s scythe. It may not be ideal, but it would be cool to see Brook carry it around and learn how to use it over the remainder of the story.

My theory is that when Zoro defeats king the sandai will turn into a black blade. Zoro is going to learn something about his conquers haki during the fight. Emma will turn back after Zoro is forced in a way to kill Kiado. Like after luffy drops kiado he gets back up for one final scare and tries to destroy wano or something on the lines of that. Luffy might be exhausted and might not be able to stop him or luffy will order Zoro to cut him down to put a end to his rampage. After Zoro cuts down kiado hitetsu will ask Zoro if he can have the sandai back so wano can keep it as a reminder of Zoro great feat like ryuma and shusui. Hitetsu will offer the nidai in exchange for it. Plus he created the sandai and he will be incredibly happy to see it as a black blade and it will probably no longer have a curse.

I have 3 ideas 1 - When all 3 Kitetsu swords touch each other at the same they merge and become one perfected Kitetsu sword 2 - Zoro learns a technique to control sword floating, maybe a haki based technique or he eats a devil fruit of some sort and he manages to wield 5 sword at the same time 3 - Brook is a swordsman and Sanji is also taught swordsmanship and he's now unlocking his true powers maybe he finally accepts what he can do, so both Brook and Sanji are eligible to use Kitetsu blades or maybe even some of the other straw hats maybe Luffy finally learns to to use a sword or Vivi if she joins or Yamato(just in case she becomes a bit more Oden-ish) Edit: 4th idea Maybe Zoro returns Enma to Momo and Hiyori and takes Nidai Kitetsu instead Edit number 2: 5th idea Zoro uses 3 Kitetsu swords for 3 swords style, Enma and Wado Ichimonji for 2 swords style and maybe he gets 6th sword for 1 sword style, something big in size of Yoru or he gets Ace and uses pistol in other hand like Roger

I was thinking that the curse in Sandai would somehow transfer over to the Nidai and that the kitetsu blades were like horcruxes in a way, but are looking to reassemble the cursed soul and his battle with ghandi will determine who will hold the completed kitetsu. It seems weird for Zoro to abandon his sword for a better one unless something bad or special happened to it.

Remember when Oda drew Zoro at 40 and 60, he did have that caption of Zoro calling himself Master of "4 sword style" and "5 swords style". It might as easily have just been a joke, but knowing Oda, maybe he was foreshadowing.

The girl is shocked and she slowly takes the sword in her hands and start looking at it "Its so beautiful..." she slowly unsheathe the sword to look a the blade and is shocked again "the blade is completely black?!" after a few seconds she sheaths the sword again and tries to give it back "Yes something like this would really help but I'm sorry I cant take your sword, I would never be able to afford a sword like this" The old man doesn't reach for the sword "look..." he points at his other two swords "I have more swords so I will be fine" The girl is staring at the sword in shock "I cant... I cant..." tears start welling up in her eyes. "Why?!" she says almost screaming. "I completed my promise with this sword... and I think its former owner would want someone like you to have it" he says while looking at the sword and after a few seconds he ask "You wouldn't know the way to the harbor?" She looks up and tears running down her face "ye... yeah... its that way" she points west. The old man slowly start walking east. "Whats your name?!" she ask While walking the old man replies "You can call me moss head and Swords name is Wado Ichimonji" he stops for a moment "... but you could call the sword Kuina" then he starts walking again. The girl looks at the sword and firmly grasp it and whispers to herself "Kuina..." a few seconds pass then she bows down on the ground with her head touching the ground "I cant tell you how grateful I am! I promise I will become the greatest swordsman!" she screams and the old man just smiles and says "Prove the world wrong" Some seconds pass and the girl calms down a bit and looks up again "um... the harbor was that way" pointing west again and the old man suddenly changes direction. Later the same day: "Moss head! there you are!" Sanji says as he walks up to him. Sanji gets a confused look "dont you usually have three swords?" Zoro replies "oh yeah... guess I lost one"

What if a swordsmith use haki/riyuo. Infusing it with haki while forging the blade? And it creates the aura of the blade or giving it a character? And that will make the sword a cursed sword i guess. For example Enma cannot be wielded by anyone. The only one that can weild or tame Enma is a person that has stronger haki.✌

I saw a theory that the reason the ponelgriphs can’t be broken is because when they were being made with armorment haki, and the road were made with conquerors haki so it could be the same thing with black blade swords

Hey, tekking, I think you should make a video on the old lady from Amazon lily, the ex snake empress. I think it would be very interesting as she probably have been skilled in all these types of haki. It's also said that she left her duties because she fell in love, what if she fell in love with a famous pirate? One that we havent explored much yet. The idea randomly came into my head but I think it would be very interesting.

Theory, samurai-Gandhi's sword isn't of same family but much ancient sword and kitetsus are modeled after it. Another theory, cursed swords are because of haki. Because haki is will, will of the former owner lives in the sword. If a person who doesn't share same will, or stronger will to overcome one in the blade, tries to use it it may act on it's own accord. This way it may seem cursed to weak people.

my theory is that Kaido and King will drop Gorilla glue and duct tape respectively. After they're beaten the people of Wano will give Shusui back to Zoro and he will use this legendary Gorilla glue duct tape combo to connect the hilts of his 3 swords to all 3 of the Kitetsu blades (Kinda like Darth Maul's lightsaber). The sandai will be connected to Shusui, the Nidai to Enma, and the Shodai will be connected to the Wado.

I think the Kitetsu's are the cause of Asura. We first see Asura in Ennies Lobby, just a few chapters after Zoro picks one of them up. He could have a much more complete and monstrous Asura form after getting all three.

I like the idea that maybe while fighting shiryu before marie jois, he'll brake Kuina's blade, then that makes for the excuse to use the three cursed blades. I doubt it tho, it really seems like he's gathering his own set of signature blades.

I like the theory of a sword not needing to break to be used, maybe zoro might do something like tashigi and start collecting like specific swords that have unique attributes or "spirits" like the demon aura sandai kitetsu has, like imagine, just imagine imagine Zoro getting 9 meito swords including the three kitetsu blades, and using his kyutoryu, that'd break the one piece world

My personal theory is that the kitetsu blades can be fused by using all three at once in a masterful way this might also be the reason mihawk was interested in zoro back in baratie after seeing him use 3 swords at once in a specific way and by the end of the story zoro’s swords will be enma wado ichi monji and a sword that is all three kitetsu’s combined making him very stong

To me it was always cool the idea of Zoro carrying 6 swords at once (3 in each side), and taking combinations of them in his 3 sword style to have different techniques or effects, it wouldn't be that hard to believe since he already takes out or puts down swords to do like a One sword technique.

You forget that besides having a max of 3+ blades... Zoro also doesn't need to own the swords he fights with - he could borrow another blade when he's short of 1 or 2
