However, she was never allowed to practice with real swords because she was clumsy, had poor vision and was timid. She instead hit the books.Kuina was a prodigy but believed that being a woman meant she wouldn't be as strong as the guys in the long run. She was putting herself down. Tashigi likely struggled as a kid and because she was clumsy, no one took her seriously. Kuina wanted to be the world's strongest swordsman. Tashigi doesn't want to be the best. She just want to collect all of the famous swords from bad guys. Oda said that just becuase some birds can't fly doesn't mean they never will. In Wano, Tashigi will fly.

I was thinking Kobe. Why? Pink hair, color of sakura leaves. We don't know anything about his parents. And we are well antiquated with him, in that we see his beginning, and current progress as well. Everybody's only thinking Kushin, Zoro, and Kuina because they would seem more like wano types, but as we've already seen, not everyone would look like it. So...... Plus, if we learned Tashigi or Kuina is related to wano, it's not that big a deal. But if it was Kobe, then yea. it'd be a sort of big deal, but not a truly big deal in comparison to the story.

@@Scionofgreyhaven yeah, kubo's art style seems errr "edgy" which is awesome to make characters look more prominent and imposing, on the hand we have Oda art style that is wee bit mm "round", hh just remembered zoro's description of Coby on water 7 that he was more round in the past, but oda gives characters more presence through situations, attitudes and behaviour, things that i enjoy quite a lot. I am not saying Oda doesn't know how to draw bada** characters, after all we have : Mihawk, Doflamingo, KAIDO IS A DRAGON, the Dragon himself, ...............................and the list goes on. Sorry for using layman's terms , have a good one buddy !

If you think about it, it might make sense that it is Zoro whom Oda was talking about. That “Snatch” phrase Zoro taught Momo might come from a clan that was cast out of Wano, explaining why they ended up in the East Blue and why that phrase seems to have some negative connotations attached to it.

From this SBS i would say we learned some bit about Ideo through his food preferences. He likes döner kebab which dervives from the ottoman empire (now turkey for the most part). He also dislikes pork meat which most muslims from turkey don't eat since it is not allowed in islam. This might be a clue to why he is such a different type of long arm tribe member. There might be an island based on the middle eastern culture and so on in the new world. This could also be the home of people with arms like Ideo.

I believe that the unknown wano child from decades ago is Fujitora. Also multiple people were most likely on that ship but fujitora is the only one we would be familiar with. The others could be parents of characters we know such as Koshiro, Zoro, Kuina, and/or Tashigi.

i actually think they are referring to Sandai Kitetsu or at least the decedent of Kitetsu, the reason why i think this is cause one this random carpenter guy was in log town and second what is doing a sword like a Kitetsu blade in the east blue and specially in a run down shop as one of the bargain swords, i think one of the decedents of Kitetsu was in that ship it end up in the east blue and that how as well the Sandai Kitetsu end up in the east blue.

The only way he would learn the word is if someone old from wano taught him that, and the most sensible one we know would be Kashiro who learned it from his parents.

Depending on what Oda means with the well acquainted part it could be Kuinas dad/mom/parents. They are well known compared to some other side characters and their origin revelation would not be big deal.
