you made this way harder than it needed to be, you couldve put pressure plates at the bottom hooked up with some redstone going to the pistons. but i loved ur effort and it was a great invention

Does Tekkit have redpower2 rp5 or rp6 now? If so, all you need is a transposer on a timer, piped into an item detector with whatever item you want as a key, emitting your redstone pulse when it sees that item. Much simpler than a bunch of redstone engines with buildcraft pipes. Plus, as a bonus, you can use the new state cell to keep that door open for as long as you want,instead of a complex repeater setup. Screeny here: imgur.com slash UnGBT

wow this would be an awesome sort of currency system on a tekkit server if you had to pay to get to another part of the town or something like that, then whatever people put in the well could go into a chest or something.

i know the pressure plate pool of water lock, but the point behind this was that only one specific item can unlock the door. the other lock can be unlocked by any item or even by the player himself. this dose not work on this version of the lock.
