Thank you so much for this! I have a very specific question related to something you said around the 2:40 mark. When I create an assembly, tekla demands that I assign a main part. now thats frustrating me because then one of the parts have a strange name. Example: I have one column: C1 and it has a column, a top plate, and a bottom plate. What I WANT is the have one assembly drawing named C1, and 3 part drawings name p1 p2 p3. what I GET (and I don't know how to fix), is Assembly C1, and parts C1, p2, p3.... it's sketchy and makes people in the shop wonder where p1 is! haha. Do you know how to fix this?

Hi Luke! Look out for an advanced option called XS_USE_ASSEMBLY_NUMBER_FOR=........it sounds like you have this set to MAIN_PART, which will dictate a column shaft will take the assembly number. It sounds like you would prefer this to be blank, so the shaft part mark is p1.

@@chris_gatehouse YES absolutely! Becuase a lot of the time I have symmetrical assemblies that have all double parts. so then I have a c1 part and p2 part that are exactly the same thing. thank you so much I will mess with this!

You don't address multi drawings or GA drawings ??

Hi, you're right. The process is the same as for single and assembly drawings.
