Tekla Structures 2024 New Snapping Options

Nice additions to the snapping options. Wondering how well it works considering the past snapping hiccups

I don't like detailing like this in the 3d view. They seem to be trying to make it easier with the new snaps but I'm still old school and prefer working in plans and elevations.

Here is some feedback. Give me the option to have the pop up boxes from 2022 version instead of the property pane garbage thats in the newer versions. The snaping is not that much of an improvement over the downgrade of the property pane change.

Yeah, property pane was the worse idea ever. Slow and unpractical idea copied from Revit and implemented even worse.

Couldn't agree more. I hate it. It's been implemented to reduce the amount of open boxes but it's slow, cumbersome and awful to use. I can't stand the copy paste brush either. Wake up Tekla you are really annoying your core users!!!

You can hold "Ctrl"+ Left Click on Beam/Column. The dialog which you need, it will appear. However, I still new appearance 😅
