How many African musicians do we trying to emulate an international star from their vocals to the way they talk. Nigerian artists are just but a few who have managed to keep their originality forget the dressing or whatever. Try and understand where I'm coming from. For sure Nigeria songs are lit which is why they are my second best choice of music after rock.

Literally, the song is about what alcohol can do ( e dey do) to your body and your senses. The song starts by saying there is Phantom around, i.e "Phantom dey here so “ meaning you loose total control...keletun,skeletun, kelepu, are make up words by Tekno to describe the effects of alcohol.He asks in pidgin english “E dey what ?” meaning “It does what?. It can dull your senses to the extent that you become loose with your words to the extent of extreme vulgarity. They know because they have been drinking and having fun for a long time, the reference to 1960 year of independence celebration for Nigeria, when it seized to be a colony of UK. That is all what the song is about.

I'm American and am here because I have been listening to davido and wizkid, Remi Alode, Tiwa Savage etc BEFORE they crossed over to us recognition...since 2015. US radio doesn't acknowledge TRUE talent or Afro Beats, House, AfroPop. There are hundreds of talented beyond measure African artists and the sound that is coming from across the seas is UNMATCHED by anything I have heard on any popular hip hop or pop station and even jazz. The vibration that this music hits your body on - Americans WOULD NEVER. American media want teens and adults sad, depressed, cheated on, hating the women, teen sex etc etc etc. Rema LADY is an awesome afro pop song. Burna Boy On the low is like Afro Hip Hop...there are many styles and so many artist to learn about, yet we dont hear of them 🤔 I love watching artist videos like Burna Boy;On The Low, Wizkid; Joro, Rema; Lady and Rema, Dumebi because of how the African man and young men choose to depict the ladies; always with class and even sexy but with V.A.L.U.E. I do not give a damn about any of these American comments redirecting the attention from this man to an artist who drinks blood in music videos and eats no telling WHAT. Americans always redirecting the attention when they are UNinformed on something...ex. The Breakfast Club had an interview with Burna Boy and it was weaaaaak af, the American djs can be so uneducated, un prepared and just plane embarrassing to me, to be American at times. It's sad HOW EASY it is to learn and study someone's track record and see their global stardom, yet to witness the Breakfast club literally not even honor their guest properly is trash and waiting this persons time. To have an interview with such a global star as Burna Boy and not give him the energy that was equivalent to who he was was a train wreck to watch... it's like having Beyonce come on and you asking questions about her Dad, Destinys child, her mothers marriage etc. Basic questions we know the answers too...basically because Americans dont do their research you have a HUGE star, and treat them like B list celebs and Embarrass the Americans because they say mostly nothing of importance and dont ask good questions eitherway...

Guy's moves are so good. I don't think rehearsing can make him this good. Must be talent
@nuelreview5636 Жыл бұрын
It’s talent. He doesn’t rehearse them and it’s something he’s know to be doing ever since he came on the scene and even performing on stage. I love those dances 😂❤
