The land was called Palestine. But the Arabs living there did not call themselves Palestinians. There was NO Palestinian nationality. The "Palestinian" Arab nationality was invented in the 1960s.

Palestine people were fabricated in the beginning of the 20th century. Today's Palestines are in fact Jordanians, not Palestines at all.
