This is just a smoke screen for Arsenal fans to be excited while we will not sign anyone, so that they can later say we tried. You don't go for a striker a day or two before the end of the january transfer window if you are serious. We;ve been buying young players over the last few years. We also need experience to balance things. Our need for an EPL proven and seasoned veteren goal scorer is direly needed. 29yo players are not like those 20-30 yrs ago.
