This statement aligns with ongoing discussions about the challenges telcos face, including inflation, foreign exchange pressures, and infrastructure costs.

“Debt as a percentage of GDP”😂 Joker! It ought to be, debt as a percentage of REVENUE as this is a more accurate reflection of a country’s finances. Rhetoric is what they do majorly.
@Ene6729 күн бұрын
That's not right. There's also a metric known as Debt as a % of GDP
@onomeonota239 күн бұрын
@ I have edited my comment to make it paint a clearer image. Of course there’s debt to GDP but it is far from accurate, investors to pay lesser attention to it as an economic indicator than debt to revenue. WHY? The aforementioned is a very long term indicator.
@Ene6729 күн бұрын
@@onomeonota23 That’s still not wholly accurate. Debt-to-GDP is the global benchmark for economic sustainability and investor confidence as it shows economic sustainability and how a country’s debt burden compares to the size of its economy. However, debt-to-revenue is more relevant for assessing financial risks, debt affordability, and budget constraints. So debt-to-GDP is a more acceptable global benchmark because it’s more stable and widely understood whereas debt-to-revenue is more volatile and varies by tax policy.
