@@Spyrotastic141 This has been analyzed by other folks (so disclaimer, none of this has really my own take but I definitely agree with most of it) and one conclusion is that if the birds are the “noisy minority” the other things (mustachioed rabbits?) could represent the idea of a supportive or at least neutral “majority,” since they help them dress up, appear in the cathartic imagine sequences, and outnumber the birds

If anyone's curious/confused, Telecaster B Boy is about two trans people who are trying to transition into their proper gender identity but society (represented by the birds) keeps rejecting them unless they're presenting as their assigned gender (the shot of them being dropped from the stage) So they dance and act as their assigned gender to fit in (which is why they dance with the birds and not the weird little rabbits) The thought bubble is them still wanting to transition but being unable to thanks to the birds. In the end the two find solidarity in each other which is why they dance together in the final chorus This is my personal interpretation so I may have gotten some details wrong anyway anyone here into Project Sekai and think it's nice WXS + Len covered this EDIT: if there’s transphobia in the replies ignore it and don’t encourage any trolls please (I seriously can’t believe I had to add this to a comment on a VOCALOID SONG)

I'm really late, but as a trans-feminine person I really love this cover and the artistry and story behind the lyrics themselves. This is mostly my own interpretation, but during the section with what most people believe to be the trans woman, I related a lot. Like, "More luck with an android/Avoiding tears in void/Redact her temper tantrum and deny...". Obviously interacting with transphobes is super difficult because they don't listen and make rather violent comments, so it's like this constant battle of avoiding pain alongside avoiding being painted out as a villain for your emotions. Also, "I'll color correct the bruise ignore the stain", this feels like an ode to the way trans women are forced to perform hyperfemininity for acceptance and covering up "stains" in their image such as body hair or features societally deemed "manly". Obviously this could have more than one meaning contextually, but I like this meaning. The last part "I need a nobody who'd hold me tight for love" contrasts so beautifully with "I need a nobody who'd throw that out for love" because it kinda implicitly illustrates the desires for trans mascs and trans femmes according to their more common traumas. Anyway, thanks Will and everyone else who's enjoying this content.

Interesting. I am not good at interpreting stuff but I thought the first person was trying to perform masculinity and was therefore transmasc and the second person was clearly (in my mind) transfem. To me the catgirl outfit was an especially strong pointer, I know the catgirl aesthetic is generally often liked but it has such a strong connection with transfem people who try to perform feminity by appearing cute because they try to fit in via that stereotype. I am not entirely sure what the last shot of both scenes with the judges rating them positive (whatever their gender might be) means. I thought that it could be that these people are now in a submissive position and as such where the judges want them?

Dunno if anyone has mentioned it but whenever the characters are not their true selves the background is a blue while when they are who they really are the background is yellow :)

From what I've seen in other comments, it seems to be not quite that simple. More of a case of, yellow is how they have to conduct themselves and present themselves to to the world, while blue is their dreams and ideals that are constantly rejected, for example by a literal panel of judges.
