Great stuff..........I remember the original transmissions in late 1963. One episode was cancelled to make room for a repeat showing of the first episode of a brand new show called.....Dr Who!!

my childhood moved from unbearable to hopeful thanks to this The Telegoons and Spike's total grasp of what really matters in life ..... I had until then begun to believe the lies I was told daily by The Jesuits at my Catholic Boarding School in England. Spike's beneficial effect on me and others was to be followed and complemented by such as: Ken Russell (The Debussy Film) 19th Nervous Breakdown (The Rolling Stones)Juliet of The Spirits (Federico Fellini) Let's Make The Water Turn Black (Frank Zappa) Georgie Fame, Jimmy Smith and onwards and upwards ....... thank you Ken for posting .... I have the Telegoon Toon on vinyl LP - it is by The Big Ben Banjo Band !! (I've fallen in de water!)

I must find my old tape of the Telegoons and get it digitalized, I don't think the quality will be as good as this though. Hopefully other paople have Telegoons episodes that will eventually re-emerge- the survival of our species depends on preserving these important cultural documents.
