I thought it sounded very much like a challenge, too. I can just imagine how teens would see it, definitely as a challenge, and as teens are at the hormonal and emotional stage of life, still growing and unsure of themselves, always looking for acceptance, I can see teens reading that and taking it as the blogger challenging them to do it, whether or not that was the blogger's intent. Anyone online who has a following, especially one with many young people, really need to think about what they say, how they say it, and how will their followers interpret it. I feel blogger's do have a responsibility to their followers since bloggers and other Internet personalities can have great influence and huge impact on their followers. It really brings home the cautioning phrase "Think before you speak"
