Nice operation. I’m from the southern USA and grew tobacco the exact same way my entire life. Our farm produced tobacco for past 75 years up until we got out in 2005. All grain and produce now. We have zero rocks in our soils though, thankfully 😅

Used to dark fired. Grows much taller. As a kid, chopped and stocked it. Then hung it in the barn. Always funny when somebody stopped to tell us the barn was on fire from burning sawdust on the floor. Never seen so much acreage. Grandpa had 12 acres, and I think in the 60's that was most a single farmer was allowed for burley and dark fired.
