Generative music is of interest to a lot of people who get into modular synthesizers, and for me one of the best tools I've found to play with generative concepts is the Monome Teletype - a computer with limited programmability that can live in the rack and control things.
This video aims to give a quick overview of the Teletype and simple examples of how to program it. I'm going to start with a generative patch built on 'normal' modules using probability & randomness, and then rebuild the same patch using the Teletype. It'll be fun!
