Lord have mercy, I hate Covid-19 has taken so many of our great people, especially a Man of God. I watched Pastor Price as a teenager and young adult for many years during the 80s & 90s. His preaching really got me through many difficult times and helped to definitely increase my faith in the Word of God. I’ve been a faithful follower for 30 + years. I am so thankful to the Most High God for Dr. Prices’ teachings. I learned so much from him. When I first heard his message on Race, Racism and Religion, I was like WOW. This man of God was a man of integrity and preached sermons of Love and Fire and Brimstone. He taught me the difference in arrogance and confidence when it came to preaching and teaching the Word of God with clarity and understanding. He was a strong man who backed up everything he said with Scripture. He had more “guts” than any preacher I’ve ever listened to. I remember many years ago when he came to Norfolk, Virginia and the choir was singing “Pass Me Not.” He immediately let them know that song did nothing to bring glory to God because the song is saying God is a God of favoritism. To this day, I still think of him every time that song is sung in church. To his beautiful wife Betty, the children, the grandchildren, and to all who knew Dr. Price, be strong in the Lord as He gives you peace and comfort. Rest on brother Price. You left a legacy that will forever be remembered.

I recorded all 79 hours of his Race Religion and Racism series on my VHS video machine. I have recorded many of his Bible scriptures teaching since the late 1970s. Apostle Price was way ahead of his time, because he would teach on subjects that other ministers were afraid to talk about, and he would show Bible scriptures to back up his teaching subjects.
