As the SCOTUS eliminated abortion, since Roe was decided based on the 14th Amendment they will be defining the 14th as abortion is not mentioned in the Constitution and what they are doing is using abortion as a lie to eliminate your right to privacy. That is the only way to block Roe. At the same time they are also eliminating Freedom of Religion because what they are doing a fully based on Religious Beliefs even though the Bible never says don't do abortion and at no point has anyone been able to prove an unborn child is a life. Even Barbra Bush believed a woman should be able to decide that for herself. As the Right Wing SCOTUS does this we will only be 1 law suit away from the elimination of private voting. They can and likely will make your vote public. Most people already know how I vote just by knowing me but many people don't want it known. Instead of allowing churches to have a tax exemption status, they should allow public schools, foster group homes, homeless shelters and hospitals to be tax exempt. The tax dollars saved could help provide school lunch programs and feed the homeless.
@martinpattison89162 жыл бұрын
I think the idea behind the tax exempt status is that churches do do things like feeding the homeless. However, I don't know how many of them actually do this sort of thing or whether there is a portion of this guy's "parsonage" set aside for homeless people.

I’m not religious but I was reading through some Bible verses after hearing about Copeland and I think this one describes him: Peter 2:1-3 But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

I then said to him, you mean that a collective intelligence came to the conclusion that the Sars virus was caused by fallen angels?... I use the term collective intelligence loosely. He said, yes. I told him that the CDC had tracked down the origins of the sars virus to an open air market in southern China and that he shouldn't say his theory out loud. Of course, I could also not resist in presenting an alternative theory, Leprechauns... Those sneakly little buggers just can't be trusted... Fallen angels from a group of people. High schools? Practical Ethics, Critical Thinking, and Rational Skepticism should be taught as part of every course! English: how to tell something is ethical and tell truth from fiction. Social: how to tell Fact from Fiction and what happens when people believe the fiction. Science: how to research and ability to tell truth from fiction by checking your sources' sources... to make sure it's not a closed loop, and what are "good" and "reputable" sources, what can be used in a pinch, and which to stay away from. In all, how to think for themselves, not just memorize the facts and regurgitate them for the exams.
