A simple way of upgrading the Jamaican road network would be to require an 8 inch minimum of concrete sub road for any road being repaired going forward. Continue requiring a top voat of Asphalt but require proper concrete base,and give Utilities,not just JPS or NWC, but all utilities,to properly rebuild any road they cut open. Proper layer of cement, and proper asphalt, not fill with Marl and hope trucks compact it. This may be Jamaica, not USA or Europe, but that foes not mean we should be paying gor road repsirs every year because we kerp not building proper roads using modern methods because vounselors are like, it worked when i was a boy.

I agree wholeheartedly, and for Christ's sake, do proper maintenance of the roads. Water is one of the main destructive factors. Set proper drains and slant the roads. Stop paying an officer for poor road work which remain the same after getting huge sums of maintenance money every period. This money can go to small businesses ir health care. Jamaica can help itself if we address the problems and not 'likes'❤
