This was done right before the relapse. But he already knew the previous treatment eas not totally successful and he had to teturn to Canada. He was already feeling the return of symptoms and pushing to complete work before leaving. This was supposed to be released on his sister's birthday Sept 25. But he had computer issues and then relapse . He treats $ as clay=tool to do stuff but not accumulate for itself.

I think this is a message for us all. My heart aches listening to this one (For I am a spiritual). I try to remember there IS more good than evil although the evil is VERY much. I stand firm in the belief though...once the ants realize they out number the grasshoppers only then will things change. Anywho....Im still playing catch up! Onward I go!🤗

Ren has never allowed money to change who he is. Money is fairly new to him, and he pays his team well. They’re all friends he’s collected over the years. It’s Ren’s illness, and the failings of the medical industry that have made him “bitter”. Although, I don’t think Ren is all that “bitter”. He knows he’s lucky to have access to treatments many people could never afford. 😉❤️

I think that greed really started to bother him in the medical industry and developed from there, but it's definitely something he's always talked about.

He seems to have been against greed and corruption from the very beginning. Just think about his song Power of Unity. It was out for sale (on bandcamp) to help pay for his treatments in ‘15 but there’s video of him singing it from ‘09.

Awesome reaction! I have been watching for a bit but haven't had a chance to comment. Ren is the king of hidden gems and double entendres. When he says money ties, it also doubles to mean monetize, and in the end, when he says no money, no prophet, it also doubles to mean know money no profit. I also just wanted to mention that when he's talking about. Uh, greed and things? He never is talking about what money has done to him. And what breed has done to him? Because he is very against money and greed and tries to stay as far away from the money in greed in industry as possible, and that is Pretty much, the reason he is still not signed to a label.

I can only speak for myself but I've never been hurt by giving love. I have been hurt by expecting that I would be loved in return and finding that I wasn't. Now I try to love without grasping the other person. Open handedly I allow them to leave without my claw marks. They can accept my love or not and it still makes me happeir to have given it. I end most post with "I love you" and I mean it.

Greed always was a issue for him but he became more aware of the corruption through his mental health journey and struggled to get the correct support as in UK it sucks that bad, he had to go to spend a ton of his parents money to get on the Canadian support system where while it costs a lot, they help him. Yet it also makes him more mentally mentally ill that he's gotta go through all that, just to get the help to begin with. That's what drew this urge of inspiration out of him, how the battles all collided through this part of his life so deeply and chaotically

The opening is a partial quote of passage Timothy 6:6-11. Ren's work starts when you see Ren. I've seen interesting opinions that Money Ties could be part 4 of MG, or Kujo Beatdown part 2, or a reminder to those that follow the Bible's teachings Timothy's statement on the temptation of Greed. Or all of it. I love Ren's message about what is important in life and is an opposite message of a lot of R&B/Hip Hop that sends the reverse message flaunting flash and bling.

Now there’s no doubt that he’s also a loving big brother ❤ The real shocker here to me though is that this collaboration with nayz came about as a result of the Kujo situation. Which means that this is another track that wasn’t part of the plans for his upcoming album. Just a little masterpiece of a bonus song. In the midst of his health taking a dive. I know music helps him stay alive, but this is still blowing my mind 🖤🐰 Edit: BTW yes, I believe Ren makes pretty good numbers now. But he didn’t really start blowing up until Hi Ren came out December 2022. Before that he had to do fundraising to afford the first stay in Canada and medical treatments there. I have no doubt it must be a massive relief to be able to say he can afford it all on his own now. And I imagine he has been through more than enough to never forget what’s truly valuable in life ❤

The beginning of this is spoken by Ren's friend Kit and it is from the Bible Timothy 6 6-10 . His sister (Leah) lives off the grid she is all about nature and living off the land he is very proud of her and you can tell he loves her very much this was supposed to come out for her birthday but stuff happens and it was delayed most importantly he got it out. This beat is very good as well and came from a producer that reached out during the Kujo situation cause he also had a similar problem with Kujo they got to talking and Ren asked if he wanted to do a song together they are splitting it 50 /50 as kind of a F/U to Kujo at the same time. Ren never misses.

He wanted to get this out for his sisters birthday last month but he collapsed and went blind for a couple of days pushing too hard :( This song makes me cry every time at the sister part. So many feels. I had the same feeling about a last message. The producer of this one was also ripped off by KujoBeats. They considered doing Beat Down together but Ren wanted to do that one himself so they're 50/50 on this one.

Canadian here... I wrote a long comment regarding our current political situation and then reminded myself that this is a Ren reaction, I'm only mentioning it because it was a well penned, well conceptualized comment and not posting it was my Ren reaction. I don’t think Ren is rolling in the dough yet. He pays out a lot for his medical treatment, especially for the specialist in Canada. He also has a staff in support of his music and videos and I’m sure they don’t work for free. KZbin and the streaming platforms don’t pay much. He spent many years as the ‘starving busker’ (my guess) living in a pretty basic walk-up apartment he shared with two other musicians. He has said his health expense is taken care of. The rest is anybody’s guess. I hope he’s doing well. He certainly deserves it. He works hard. He gives us wonderful music. He allows reactors to monetize their work, too, because he respects their work, and is not greedy. A point he makes about money, every time.

I'm not trying to throw shade or debate you politically, I really do enjoy your reactions, and that's why I keep comin' back, and I ain't goin' no where, but you did make one really ignorant comment at the end there about sleepy Joe. Furthermore, if veterans are a big concern of yours as we head to the voting booths in couple weeks, I would do some background and history on any GOP legislators, because there are only handful that even barely care about our vets, and the party in general, especially the orange monkey, has proven they don't give a single fook about vets, I have military coworkers and a lot of military in my family, and none of them can stand the former Cheeto in charge, because of the way he treated them while in office. Also because they take an oath to protect the constitution, not the president, and since the former president likes to wipe his orange ass with constitution, they don't take too kindly to that. Anyway, that's the just the tip of the iceberg as far as it goes withe criminal rapist, and I'm not telling you to vote for Harris, I'm telling you if ya vote for trump, your throwing your country under the bus for a red hat, that's all I'm sayin...😂😂 ✌💚
