Paid MADE a visit and it blew my mind. The No 22 3D printed Ti aero bike was ludicrous. Everywhere you looked, more insane details. The BBQ bike was the most fun - instant smiles. Ira's zero-pad saddle on the SS CX bike was the craziest. Maybe he never sits down in cyclocross races, but the rest of us mortals sure do and that would murder our nether regions. Amazing show. Everyone should attend it. It really makes you appreciate the merging of science and art that is unique to small builders.

DK!! Hands down THE best vid from MADE this year. I was hoping beyond hope that someone would have the great sense to hit up the folks in the parking lot with THEIR cool bikes. Every time I see a video from a show I always check in the background for what's parked in the racks. Some of the best builds are lurking there. That pink and cream Rodriguez tho was extra speciale (yes, speciale).......and Ira's SS....and the pink double cargo. Plus milk actually came out of my mouth watching the grill bike interview. And I wasn't even drinking milk.

I rescued a Rodriguez bike from the recycled crusher. I thought it was a fake since Rodriguez is a common name in the Hispanic community. I thought somebody placed a Rodriguez sticker on a frame. Once I cleaned up the frame , started riding it and found out it was something special…I went ahead and powder coated the frame, added a campy 9 speed and sold it for 1 k…

I have a 2015 Scott Sub Speed 10. Gonna upgrade it to have a dynamo hub. Also have a 4th Gen Trek Dual Sport 3. It has a rack and I bought a fender kit recommended by the trek store that turned out not to fit. I’m gathering camping gear, hope to tackle a 500 mile bikepacking trip with it next spring. And finally I have a Raleigh Revenio Carbon 2 from 2014. It’s a full carbon road bike, rim brakes, internal routing, 2x9. Shimano 105. Not much else to say about it.
