Yes you have to switch Affinity products. Although it's not as good as Adobe Products but based on their prices I 200% recommend and I am using them from 2 years

I'm myself an Affinity Designer and Photo user and so far, its great!! But recently I acquired a great advice from a recent video posted by Satori Graphics which is that the software is just a medium/tool, it's actually the knowledge and practice of design knowledge and having the mindset and eyes of a designer, which in my opinion, everybody has. Everybody has the acumen for design, it's just the fact that most don't exactly get the proper guidance (such as visual exercises and learning through other's works by reconstructing them on your own) and constructive criticism to promote proper learning and growth as a great designer.

I heard a Adobe Certified designer telling that they can use your projects to train AI. No doubt, Adobe is best among other softwares in the market, but unfair pricing and invading user privacy would make a lot of people quit.

i have been using affinity for last 5-6 years and i find it easier and useful also. I have been designing almost everything there unless i get CDR file then i open in corel convert in EPS then open in affinity. If affinity adds support for CDR files also then it would be best app.

I bought it when you a made a video on Affinity Designer 1 and trust me it was the best decision, I really like the interface and workflow of the Affinity Designer but several options are missing and for that we can even use AI older version. Do not switch completely but one by one like first on Affinity Designer and then make a decision if one wants to move on Affinity Photo. It is not that expensive to buy...

After 1 year of experience, lots of experiments and the news of Canva merger I finally switched to Adobe. There are lots of do's and don'ts in Affinity but the most importantly you have to do some work manually (which is good of beginners for learning by the way) but Not everything there are lots of limits in Affinity just like Canva.

To be honest, I would prefer that everyone works on the software they like and can work with more creatively. As you mentioned in the video, it's about creativity and the quality of the design output. So, whichever software suits them best should be the one they use.

Sir, i have been using affinity products for long and it is good. Along with adobe product it is a plus point. I hope you learn davinci resolve. It is one of the best video editor with cinematic grading. Alien romulus was graded in davinci.

Experts can make that kind of decision but for people who are learning or at their beginner level I don't belive they need to switch. Because Affinity is the new boy in the town it will take time to reach the level of Adobe.

Adobe is so vast (US mega cap) that one cannot match it's features. But we don't need much. I tried for few minutes and realised that it will take some time learning like switching from windows to macos or android to ios. Buts its definitely a game changer when adobe is actually going rougue.

I think Adobe still has better Software then Affinity. But the problem is with subscription, and if a lot of us start using Affinity tools, over a few years it will become as good as Adobe ones. So I think as a kind of mentor, you should at least make a short course on affinity tool, as like a introduction, because for most of us we don't even think about Affinity when it comes to Graphics related work

Affinity is great tool. I do my freelance graphic design work or affinity apps. But there are some limitations.
