Thi became an anthem in the 90”s. Many did a cover on this but i think the original cast is still the best. Especially Jeffrey Arcilla, his voice is still so good, clear tone, hasnt aged a bit! I wonder if hes into musicals this days. Good job guys.

Filled with awe.. I was just an inch away from St. Pope John Paul II when his vehicle passed me by while I am on my (with my delegation) way to Quirino grandstand. I remember the World Youth Day 1995 cassette. The first track (Side A), if I'm not mistaken, is an introductory message that begins with this line: "This is Bishop Teodoro Bacani, Auxiliary Bishop of Manila and Parish Priest of San Fernando de Dilao Parish, Paco, Manila..." The last line was Pope John Paul II's recorded live announcement of the next host-venue of the World Youth Day: ANG SUSUNOD NA PAGLALAKBAY NG MGA KABATAAN AY GAGANAPIN SA MAYNILA SA NINETEEN NINETY FIVE (I guess this was from the closing of WYD '93 in Denver.) I love this song! I hope the other songs from the same collection will be made available in KZbin.

Ooohh, I thought the second verse was in the original version, the one with "Emmanuel prince of peace" That's why on Pope Francis' visit back in 2015 I never heard the second verse. I heard the Papal visit 2015 theme song (maybe) written and sung by Ms. Jamie Rivera (not hating)... but this song is much better and has a deeper place in the hearts of the Filipino people.
