@@somethingginterestingg4275 I am 5'9 and my weight fluctuates between 235 and 240 lbs, and I am not insecure. I lift for power, and not stats. Not everyone is "insecure" that is a stereotype. A lot of men and women do base everything off of their physique when competing, competively. But there is a broad majority who don't. It all depends what the individuals goals are. There was one strongman back in the day who drunk vodka constantly, but was a true powerhouse and by looking at his belly you think he would be insecure. Nope, different goals set. Edit: Back in my high school days at 175 lbs I could bench 300, this was for intense football training. I just got back into the gym recently and I have been out for a decade now, in two days, I leg pressed 450 lbs 6 times. I gained a considerable amount of weight with my time off training for all those years, but I still have muscle memory, genetics, mass, and gear free to build up my strength. The weight gain is nice in a way because I can lift a lot more than what I use to. I don't compete and I am not trying to be bigger than the next dude. I am 32. Just giving you my back story and letting you know each individual isn't the same.

Bro this bit is so simple but genius at the same time. This is the worst thing you could tell a bodybuilder because they’re so insecure that they want to defend themselves but if they do it makes them appear exactly that, insecure which is ironically the reason a lot of these guys get into bodybuilding, being insecure 😂.
