As a mom with an eight year old nonverbal son I really appreciate this book. It is tough and we are using every possible method to get some communication going. I am glad Carly found her voice, I hope my son does soon.

I’m sure he will. Who not get him a computer with the app so that you can hear what he’s saying to everyone? That’s what he needs

I'm 19 and have Asperger Syndrome (High-Functioning end of Autism Spectrum), but I can still relate 2 Carly's situation! Although my verbal and cognitive abilities are within normal limits, I still have diffiulty getting my point across in a way that most neurotypical ppl would consider appropriate, but I wish I could do that!
