I understand now where the rumor comes from that Germans are serious and love to work. Back in 1970, Hanover was already the most popular place to exhibit things to the world, and the people native to Hanover were exactly as the rumors say, and in an attempt to change that, multiple things were implemented: The Red Line (a line going through one end of Hanover to the other, while passing 36 of the most important cultural attractions) and art exhibits at various locations on the street.
