There’s a difference between not wanting someone to eat popcorn at an event where everyone is eating popcorn and not wanting someone to eat snacks that will ruin their dinner together. She was only telling him no on the snacks at that point because they were about to go to dinner and she knew if he ate them, he would be too full to go to dinner and use that as an excuse to stay in and edit. He told her she couldn’t have popcorn because she had already eaten too much in his opinion. BIG DIFFERENCE.
