Nicole and the neighbor were suspicious of him from the get go. Not suspicious of him just leaving her but if hurting her and babies. It was like they already knew that he was capable of murdering them. Why? What made them think a seemingly “good guy” could do something awful to his family? We all have friends and if one of them did not answer their phone one morning we would not automatically think that her husband did something horrific to her and their children. They did! Why? There has to be more to this story. Shannan may have confided in them secretly about strange and weird things he did behind close doors or maybe the friends seen it on their own and kept quiet about it. There just has to be more to the story as to why they all automatically assumed he did something to his family.

Sometimes when I watch Shanann's videos I forget for a moment that she and her babies are gone.... It's like she is still living with her girls in her "beautiful Colorado" as she often said.... And then reality strikes and my heart breaks again... I wish I knew her personally (even if I'm from Europe), she seemed like a genuine, kind hearted, caring and good friend! Today she inspires me to be more determined! And when I look at my 4 year old son I remember Bella and Cece! I will never forget them! 💜💜💜💙

Jon H I don’t understand how anyone can say anything about her , she was a good mother and wife her home was immaculate if she was was a bossy horrible women there is no way she would had fought as hard to save her marriage she would have thought flip this and left him she was raking the money in with thrive the only downside was she would have had to move home she done everything for him she cooked and cleaned labelled food for him all he had to do was work and he admitted himself he had a problem with money spending and gambling he made shanann look like she was overbearing even the neighbour said when he shouted he really lost his cool and it was most of the time he kicked off even when shanann knew her marriage was failing when they had the gender revel her friend Nikole said she was wanting to cut the lawn to ‘make Chris happy put him in a better mood’ made me think of the life she had with him behind closed doors

Unfortunately, sometimes in this society, strong women are given disparaging titles and labels by critical people. It doesn't make it true, but you'll always have THAT ONE. @Wesley Peters I genuinely envy you for having this belief. For me, I'm an atheist, I respect people's faith, I'm not the type who would argue and belittle. In fact, I wish I did because right now, my father has terminal cancer, is currently in hospital after a heart attack 3 days ago and has been told his heart is so weak that he can no longer have chemotherapy. Its my belief I will never see him again, and that breaks my heart more than I can express and if I believed I would see him again, it would make life easier.

I can’t watch some of these as so upsetting knowing what was coming and what happened. Watching this video today just makes me want to cry. I didn't get to meet Shanann and her precious babies, but I feel like I knew them. She was such a beautiful woman. By that I mean INSIDE AND OUT! So today, seeing this and knowing this beautiful soul's fate, hurts my heart. The world truly is a darker place without this lovely, sweet mother and her children here to shine their light. She talked about being exhausted. That's just the American lifestyle. Took only a freaking pandemic to take a break. I'm not moving back to Colorado after this. Quarantined overseas. I also had a lot of stress with my ex in Colorado. Not making excuses for abuse, but being a mom who also has to be a breadwinner is just too much pressure for any family. It's different if you work by choice but not if you must

@@taghazoutmoon5031 they were paying 25000 a year...that's insanity....I know daycare is expensive but shanann wanted them in the best school and they just couldnt afford it. Daycare has to be expensive. Those people have your kids lives in their hands and are basically raising them and teaching them helping them grow into successful adults while their parents are working. I wish that people could make a living wage so they could afford it! Im glad hes your ex husband now. I wish most women could be stay at home moms. It's better for children. My mom was home with us and it was amazing. It can be dangerous having kids around strangers and other people all time time. The government needs to change and raise min wage and in turn every other wage needs to be raised so then husband can work (or wife) and be able to afford to support the whole family on one income. Just like it used to be.

All she wanted was to have her family and be happy. We all dream of that. Gone too soon. I think of her parents. It’s hard for me to watch these videos and I didn’t even know her outside of Thrive.
