No hi di hi for you boys then, Peter. BTW Skegness is in Lincolnshire, and famed for its bracing sea breezes. With that and the cold water you must have been permanently covered in goose pimples. I was only 3 at that time, and never went in the forces as National Service ended just 11 months before I would have been eligible.

willie gluck His great quality was his ability to make wonderful uplifting speeches which boosted our moral. Yes he had many difficult decisions to make that he knew would cost a great many lives which he agonised about.
