Ivonne, this is coming from a mom of 3 kids also 25 years old. I'm busy with my second degree, part time pastor and psychologist and full time accountant. I'm 25 years old. My kids are 2 and 3 with my step daughter 8. What I have learned, is you will never be ready for a baby... In a positive way I mean. I planned my baby when I was 21 years old and engaged to my husband. I was pregnant on my honeymoon and wedding and we planned the wedding and baby second and had to move dates up due to the due date. I still enjoyed every moment of my honey moon at 3 months pregnant and yes certain things I wasn't able to due, but the important things I did do and it was amazing. I always tell people that I'm so happy I got them so early because when I'm 30 years old my youngest one will be 7 years old. We still travel with them, and they enjoy every moment of it. Of course it's difficult to leave them at grandparents at this age for couple trips so we don't do it until they are old enough to not be bothered by a 10 day trip for me and my husband to enjoy and school holidays is another opportunity. We just booked another travelling session for our entire family and the kids are excited to go. Counting down the days. There are so many ways to still enjoy your relationship, career and family together you don't need to feel it will affect it. The first couple of years of the kids are a bit more complicated to travel and work as they do get sick more often in those first years its still very very doable. It's normally your age of 5/7 and younger years of age where it's a bit too hard for them to stay a vacation at grandparents. But our daughter of 2 and 3 we love traveling with them and enjoy seeing their faces and excitement when going to new and fun places. It depends on preferences and your own feelings towards it. If you don't feel ready then that's 100% fine because it's what you feel and need to do what you feel is right 🌻 But from a working mom side. I am very active and involved with my kids while doing pastor and counselling part time for free and having my own business, it gives me the flexibility to be able to go to school events and not work a 5-8 even though I am very busy with work, my family time doesn't get affected by it and the majority of my time goes to my family and especially my husband It depends on what you want and what you work towards it. I have also done 2 qualifications at once and my first baby came when I was still doing my first degree. I'm busy with my second degree with 2 higher certificates while working full time It's a lot harder work you put in but it's worth it. Your children drive you to do better my husband and I always say we don't think we would be where we are today especially financially if it wasn't for our children, they drive us to do better for them and give them so much and all the good things in life. I don't have any energy to run after kids as I get older 😂 so I'm happy I got them at a younger age with much more energy than now. Also the younger you get your kids the younger you are when they are older for you to be able to do more thing with hubby Only one of our kids was planned and when the last one came we were unprepared and scared but today we can give them a life they deserve Everything happens when it needs to I hope my insights helps a bit but do what is best for both of you when you are ready 🌻

It's normal for you guy's to want to focus on yourselves as a couple and in everything you want to accomplish before you have a baby, but as Lucas said anything can happen. I could say from my personal experience that we waited a good year and a half to get pregnant. It was a very sensitive and interesting subject. Whatever it is you both decide I'm here for you ❤
